Gonna be running out of room again here soon. :cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley:

Weather permitting today I’ll be raising the greenhouse up higher and re-insulating the base of the greenhouse afterward to keep up with the night time temperatures.

I raised it about a foot yesterday to buy myself some time in case I couldn’t get out today.

In any case, I have a lot of work ahead of me.

Smart thinking. And yeah, a lot of work but the satisfaction once it's complete should be well worth it. :thumb:

New pics. Definitely in transitional flowering - she’s growing fast. I raised my greenhouse height via boards and cinder blocks with tie downs and wraps. She’s getting more filled out, etc. I gave a heavy dose of Cal-Mag today with a little Tiger Bloom. As we get to about half way through bloom I’ll give it the tiniest dose of beastie bloomz.

Buds are on the way! Implementing a new air circulation system tonight to ensure that Bud development stays health.m, branches stay strong to hold the ever-increasing Bud weight and of course to prevent Botrytis, Mold and other bugs/insect predators.

You've got a massive harvest in your future !
She's a beautiful plant/tree !
Very creative the way you lowered the plant,as well as raised
the roof to accomodate that beauty...

Looking really dank bud. Any chance you can share some info on how your accomplishing this? Would love to do the same or similar.

After all the useless critiques I’ve gotten on how my practices are “wrong” from various places and forums across the internet ive decided to make a majority of my practices proprietary and keep them to myself. But I will share some basic information that I have found works:

(Assuming your a soil user) After your initial transplant from a solo cup use the largest pot you can (fabric “smart” pot preferred)

Pre-Ph balance your water for about 2 weeks prior to planting. Leave outside if weather is decent enough or under a lamp. Get it watered and get it where you want it.

Rather then buying castings use live worms (wait about a week before applying any nutes you use so the worms have time to burrow and acclimate enabling enough depth that the nutes won’t dry the worms out from the salts they contain) you can buy some from a bait shop or dig your own.

Adding biodegradable to your store bought soil is usually better then adding nutes but not everyone is patient enough to compost long before planting and specifically apartment dwellers who don’t have this luxury so in this case I recommend non stinky bio degradable if your an apartment owner; nut shells, egg shells (stinks only during bake and dissipates quickly after). I also recommend taking the time crushing them into as fine a powder as possible for easier uptake by plants and faster degradation. Coffee grounds (usually a pleasant odor) give a rinse to them before applying to soil to lower any extra acidity (use same ph water, it’s going in your soil!) don’t use things like actual fish (I do) or things that will stink or give an obvious rotting smell.

In any pot. Add a coco color pad to the base of your smart pot before adding your soil to improve drainage and aeration maintaining a Constant Spring of oxygen for the roots.

If all the above have been done or you prefer a liquid nutrient line I strongly recommend getting a container of cal-mag and given about every other feeding after a few weeks of solid veg. It’s just the best most efficient way to get the nutrients it needs as fast as it can get them.

As for plant care. I’ve done a little cleanup work on the plants but it’s a fact that while you can certainly top your plants and increase the quantity of your colas (and some beautiful colas do turn out) it’s generally not recommend to tamper with the meristem because it can negatively impact the overall quality of the plant because your tinkering with the branches main source of food and energy. Think of it like roasting a marshmallow. If the marshmallow is consumed or falls off no problem, another one is simply replaced. If you put the fire out. The main source is gone and nobody is doing anything until the fire is restored.

“But Mariguana, my plants turn out fine and gets me really high!”

This maybe true but during time for reparation on the meristem your losing size, weight and potency while the plant is using its resources to get its fire started (fixing its top) again depriving any heat to your marshmallows (branch buds, etc.) I can offer references and scientific documentation together with forum mentions that discuss this topic.

I’ve offered some basic insight into my world of plants as requested.

Going to have to raise greenhouse as it’s once again nearing the roof.

Raised the greenhouse again approximately 1.5 -2feet. I may have to raise it at least 1 more time. From growth that we’ve seen so far im estimating that the cola itself will be enough to force one more raise. Tomorrow at some point I’ll be adding 2 battery operated fans inside the greenhouse to ensure ample air circulation.

As I start preparing for my next grow. I thought I’d share the first stages of my pot setup. I have coco sitting at the base which helps the fabric pot hold its shape and improve drainage and aeration. The best time to buy them is around now given that most places selling them have for clearance. I bought a 16 inch round coco planter liner and cut to fit. Having plenty of strands and stuff left over I can now use what’s left to throw some at the bottom of other pots. It won’t be nearly as conforming but the concept still works and remains fully functional
