Michigan Growers Unite!

My first autos didnt go well, looked good then were fluffy upon drying, flavor was ehhh, strength was on par with dispensaries (which here isnt anything to brag about), only got 1oz per plant.

I may try 1 or 2 autos later inside (mine were outside ) but I think I will stick to Photo's...
Im thinking I will yield 1/2 pound of buds from this first auto grow. Genetics and Light is key. This grow was the decider :rollit:next grow #4 will be another XL auto. About one week out.

Yes sir, light and genetics are key with autos. I have got as much as 6oz, and as little as 1oz off a single plant. Nutrients and no stress and pretty key as well. But what I like most about them is how fast they can be. 8-12 weeks for most depending on strain from germination to harvest is not something I would complain about.

Yield off my first auto grow above was a bit over 10 ozs. plus trim for hash and coconut oil extract. The Cream Mandarine XL auto is fantastic. 2nd mixed strain auto grow will be chopped this week. This was a no touch no training grow...will see about impact to yield. A few recent pics.

I want to send my friend some of my edibles but he's trapped up north for work...is there a safe, preferably legal way, to send him a couple within the state? I'm guessing no but hoping there's a way.
Using the mail, or common carriers like FexEx or UPS, are safe but not legal. Using the licensed MJ transporters are not cheap and probably require that the sender have all kinds of growing licenses.

Finding someone trustworthy who is already driving up that way should be safe and it is legal if they follow the common sense storage regulations and put the package in the trunk or in the back of a truck in a locked container. The proper transporting by ordinary citizens still seems to be up in the air.

In my younger days I did some transporting to supplement my income but 'red-eye' drives going to up-north are not as easy now as they once were.

Above is looking up in the Bloombox. I removed the 400W HPS and put in these 6 cobs running @36v 2.1 amps for 454 Watts.

Had to turn down to 1amp to take a picture.

Chronic Widow 4 weeks into flower under the new LED setup.
How did you do your retro fit especially the wiring?

Thanks
These units have been working for me since 2006. I decided to make the switch to LED from the 400 watt HPS a couple of weeks ago on the Bloombox.
The Bloombox has a flowering chamber of approx 27 x 36. The other side is used to take clones from roots to ready for veg.
The Producer on the other hand is 27 x 54 with 2- 400 watt HPS units in 2 approx 2 x 2 openings. I am getting ready to retrofit 4 cobs in each opening.
I have been successful in being able to tie into the existing cabinet controls and make this work like it is from the factory.
How did you tie in ? Pics step by step on your retrofit
