Moto258 2nd Indoor Grow Journal! Growing On Next Will Be Strawberry Cough & My Trainwreck Clones

First update on strawberry cough and train wreck clones! Been in veg so far now for 3 weeks the first 2 weeks were under weak lighting, but now have been under full spectrum lighting for a week. Vegging them out for another week to get them used to their new habitat. Trained all the girls out to bush more and already put one trellis up waiting for them to be happy again since I’ve put them threw a little stress with the trellis. More to come!

Update! The girls are happy go happy now from changing habitats and humidity levels dramatically and looks like I’ll be able to get my even canopy dreams from this run! The middle strawberry cough in the back is bringing out nice purple colors in her leaves so she’s getting cloned forsure. Looks like I’m going to be behind a week going into flower due to topping once more but that’s alright it happens!

I have a northern lights in the veg room trying to catch up to the girls in flower room now so she will be coming in with them soon! More to come.

Update on strawberry cough and train wreck!! Second layer trellis now up. Now begins more training and will be lollipopin in the near future. I haven’t grown strawberry cough yet so not sure how much the stretch will be so I’m sure I’ll be throwing a third trellis up also later on.

I have an update!!! Girls are looking very happy the heads are starting to poke out and saying hello already! Just been doing a lot of training since second trellis layer. Raised lights to continue the stretch a little more since I had them a little closer to help fill in for the sea of green style I’m looking for. I have plenty more room to grow up this run. The trainwreck clone in front has great genetics I can fill my entire room with just one of these girls if I wanted to and she would let me no problem! Terps are already flying in the air from this train!! I will admit while I was doing some training the middle strawberry cough got hit with a little more than I wanted and a main top came snapping off!!! Butttt thank goodness for taking cuts lmao because at least she will become a think stalked ladie once she begins her roots! Major thinkness I might add!!! More to come!!

Update!!!!A very sad day here in the garden!! Looks like we have found a true herm/male in one of my strawberry coughs line up! The three strawberry’s were supposed to be female so I wasn’t really worrying much, but being the paranoid grower that I am I noticed as soon as any evidence of male had any chances to mature enough to crop dust the rest of the ladies in the room. But that’s the chances you get when growing from seed!! Life is ment to go in the direction it’s supposed too....so I guess that’s nature telling me to put in northern lights lmao!! But other than the bad news I have other great news to throw in!!My purple Trainwreck clone is starting to throw out her buds out sites all over and she’s just about filling my entire flower room up.. monster!! The two other surviving strawberry cough ladies are doing just great as well and are very happy. They too are throwing buds out and I can already tell strawberry cough will be a quicker producer compared to my purple trainwreck cut which takes about 10-11 weeks to finish out the way I prefer. Just had to do some more lollipopin and leaf stripping to help with the stress levels they were experiencing. Other than that I’ve raised the lights up just about an inch everyday. Haven’t shown any signs of the stretch slowing down anytime soon but I have a foot or two to play with before I have to do any major rigging. I know trainwreck will do just fine but not sure on this new strain I’m running in with her so fingers crossed these two strawberry girls finish out just fine! Very finicky strain im learning that’s a forsure!!!!!!!!

Heres a nut shot of this herm I had to show to the door yesterday lol!! I don’t think she liked the lollipopin and leaf strip I just had recently done. This particular strawberry cough that Hermed was a very finicky one to start off with she didn’t even like the change in weather once I brought her to the flower room, so instead she became an outdoor plant! This is my new experiment to see what caused the herm to appear all the sudden. I’m guessing it’s either weather, stress from training early in flower or just a bad apple in the batch of strawberry seeds I’ve gotten. I am starting now to adapt my technique to slowly and gradually remove and lollipop instead of stressing out the ones that are weak genetics to begin with and do Everything in one treatment.

Update!! All 3 girls are coming along nicely! Filling out their space and still on their stretch. Buds are forming all over and really showing their true colors now! Had to do some more leaf stripping because I’m short a trellis and the plan was to keep training them to bush out more, but I’ve been on the hunt now for a week for another trellis and everyone’s sold out!!! So it would take too long to even order one at this moment so I’m still on the hunt to hopefully have a third trellis put up before their stretch stops. But fingers crossed !! Other than that ive done some more lollipopin up to the first trellis layer and their starting to look happy.!!

Update!!! Indoor garden is coming along nicely! Good thing I put this third trellis up because they definitely were going to need it, but on that note I’m starting to notice slowing down a little on the stretch so I’m thinking strawberry is somewhat like my cuttings from my trainwreck mother on stretching so that’s good to know I’ll have plenty of vertical space left to grow!! Strawberry is finicky for anyone that grows this strain or at least I got stuck with a couple lemons lol, but that’s okay these two strawberry girls just have to be watched over closely and had to just about lollipop them to the second trellis so they don’t keep throwing them bananers at me!!! There nick names have started to become zoo monkeys, only because they were throwing their bananers at me like monkeys throwing their crap at the zoo! Haha but all in all buds are forming all over the place now and the smells coming from train

Update! Major stretching has come to a stop and now the inner bud sights are starting to reach for the light and stretch. Did final lollipopin and did a leaf strip and now all girls are happy with no droopy leaves underneath after fixing the stress problem the strawberry cough we’re having. I don’t have to do much lollipopin to trainwreck she’s always happy! More to come!

Update! All three ladies are coming along nicely.. the two strawberry coughs in the back are really fragrant with strawberries and I’d have to say I’ve never actually had a decent strawberry smelling smoke before and am very surprised with these. I found a mother to add to my mother library out of the three plants from the strawberry cough genetics I grew from my seed stash. The strawberry plant on the left in the back was chosen for the library for many reasons one being that it smells like a fresh strawberry patch, but another is the bud formation with all the purple and red colors coming out which started about the 3rd week into flower. And if anyone is wondering why a few hairs have browned up some well theirs a perfect example why you don’t let others touch your buds!!! Lmao no harm done I just have to put up a sign I guess haha! And of course my purple trainwreck is doing amazing and performing like normal and the smell that comes from her makes my entire house smell amazing!! More to come...

Girls are coming along nicely with purple and orange colors. Buds are bulking up and smelling amazing. Strawberry’s are seriously in the air around here!! Definitely adding the strawberry cough to the mother room. She’s not going to produce much but I think shes worth growing being this fragrant and all! More updates to come!

Update!!! All three girls are frosting up pretty beautifully!! The trainwreck cut from my mother room has some more time left to show me what she’s made of, but I’d have to say was really hoping the strawberry cough lady’s would come in to finish about the same as train,,,, but it’s not looking like that will happen. Both the strawberry cough lady’s in the back of the room are about ready to go. They still have some more shining up to do on the trichome department, but over all I see harvest for these strawberry coughs coming up in the next few days!! No nanners yet for the strawberry’s crossing the fingers as I say that lol!! The strawberry terps in the air are very strong and so far they have been able to keep that strawberry smell profil to their true colors and haven’t lost any smells or even changed in any way like most other strains will change their terpen profile over time... very impressed!! More to come!!

It’s harvest time baby!!!! Both strawberry coughs are going to be coming on down in the morning!! They finished very nicely with perfect leaf fade to show me they are ready to go.. besides the far left strawberry cough she decided to stay a little green! No worries!! But have to say this strain finished verrry quickly being a sativa dominant. On that note trainwreck in the front will have a little more to grow from here, and I really wish I knew strawberry would finish before trainwreck because it’s going to be a little tough cutting them strawberrys out from the back with the three layer trellis lol! I’m sure I’ll manage though! More to come on the dry and the cure pictures of strawberry and of course trainwreck before I close out this grow journal and venture into the next journal!! {trainwreck is up front and two different strawberry cough genetics in back}

Harvest update for the two strawberry coughs!! They were cut down this morning before lights came on, and let me tell ya was a maze trying to work around the remaining trainwreck in the room. But figured I’d throw up some colorful pics of the lady’s before they start to dry on up! Decided to put them in one of the tents due to the dry room full from outdoors! Lonely ol trainwreck is standing tall now a little sad looking after that mess trying to thread a needle in a hay sac scenario let me tell ya, but now she gets to finish up soaking up the full spectrum lighting all on her own! The smells around here though wooo hooo!
