On to another grow. Had to kill off the other one. Got three strains I'm working with, and so far their off to a good start. 1 strain is a week in a half behind the other 2, but in the end, I'm going to flower them out at the same time.
Here's my setup
52×52×78 grow tent
300watt ipower led grow light
400watt ipower mh/hps grow light
Inline fan and carbon filter
20" box fan
4 5 gallon bubble buckets with air stones
Medium = 3" rock wool cubes, hydroton, and 6" net top
Nutrients= GH flora series and additives, super thrive, flora nectar, flora blend, diamond nectar and cal-mag.
Strain= Green Crack #1 #2 Week 2 of veg
Girls scout cookies week 3 of veg and AK 47 Xtrem week 3 of veg.
GC #1 ppm's 753 ph 5.8
GC #2 ppm's 817 ph 5.9
GSC ppm's 960 ph 5.8
AK 47 Xtrem ppm's 900 ph 5.7
Those #'s are taken after rez change, which was today. All my res changes will be on every Saturday. I will keep a weekly update or as I see fit. All strains was started from seed which was feminized. Here's some pics to get things started.

Hey 420

Things are looking good with my babies. Still have to put 12oz frozen water bottles in the rez to keep the water cool, and deal with heat issues, but not to much has changed. The only thing I changed is the fact that now, I add a drop a gallon of super thrive in my rez 3 to 4 times out the week. I LST 3 branches on each of the 2 big ones to bush'em out, and it seems to be working. Not even a full 24hrs and there responding wonderfully. The only thing I think is my girl scout cookies is a little on the sick side. Not bad but the leaves have not prayed to the like since her seedling stage. She looks like she's trying to snap out of it so I'm not to worried. I clip some leaves from time to time just to let light in at the center and added some water with Neptune's harvest seaweed and a tspn of flora grow in each rez. Just a small update til rez change. Well it's another week down in veg and things are looking good. My girl scout cookies is the only that looks a little down but she's not to bad at all. I just changed the rez in all my girls and here was the readings.
G.S.C- PPM'S 1030 PH6.4
AK47- PPM'S 1100 PH6.2
G.C #1- PPM'S 979 PH 6.3
G.C #2- PPM'S 976 PH 6.3
I didn't add cal-mag to the AK47 and G.S.C, but I did add it to the G.C 1-2. Flora series 3 part, diamond nectar, super thrive was used in all. Last night I topped 3 nodes on the G.S.C and AK 47 XTREM, and I topped the G.C's for the first time yesterday. With fresh nutes added the next day, they will bounce back quick. I'm still doing LST to spread them out and I just started using stump-tea from htg supplies as a root stimulant. It has all kinds of mycorrhizae and bacteria to help stimulate and boost the root zone. When I top off, I do it with plain ph tap water. Being that my humidity is low for this stage in the girls life, I think it has slown down the growth and bit. To help out with that, I spray them down at least 2 to 3 times a day. My Temps are lower but it's 88°for the high and 84°for the low. No 90's this week. Other than that, things has been going good this week. The 2 older girl will not get topped no more, and the younger ones will get topped one more time, on 3 nodes. By the next week or 2 I will put the trellis in and prepare for flower.

Just a small update and small changes. For some reason I think my girls are growing slower then usual. So, I figured I'd switch my mh bulb and put my hps bulb in. Reason being is, hps bulbs causes them to stretch while still in veg (right?) They responded to the light just fine, but the next morning I added some stump-tea to all the buckets and tried this neat trick called ponytailing. It helps with getting light to the lower node sights by timing up the top 4 fan leaves. I do that for 6 hours while the lights are on. It works great, but after I took the ties off, here it is a few hours later and the leaves are droopy. I don't think tieing them up will do that, so I'm left to think it's the stump-tea. PPM'S are kind of high on the 2 older ones, but no nute burn. So I guess their handling it well. Anyway that's all for now, next update coming some.

Another week down, and once again, I made some changes. Before I get into that, here's the run down.

G.S.C - PPM'S =770 PH=5.7
AK 47 XTREM- PPM'S =786 PH=6.1
G.C #1 PPM'S =683 PH=6.2
G.C #2 PPM'S =724 PH =6.1
ROOM TEMPS- 84°- 88°
ROOM HUMIDITY 32%-36%
LIGHTS TIME- 18/6

I went back to my MH bulb and switched from a 300watt led to the 800watt. I stop using the stump-tea because I don't think my girls don't like it. The leaves start to droop, and they don't look to healthy. So I had to do a early rez change to snap them back, which took about 2 days. When I do my rez change, I give them a peroxide bath in a separate bucket, just until I finish I finish with the rez change. My green cracks are doing good after the topping. #1 is doing a little better than #2, but just in growth. They both look healthy and coming along nicely. AK 47 XTREM is doing great. She's been looking healthy every sense she popped. I haven't had any problems with her. A few leaves got nute burn due to me spilling a little on the leaves. Other than that the middle has filled in nicely and she's still praying to the lights. Girl scout cookies is doing fine. Out of all, she's the weak one. She's not bad off, just the leaves refuse to pray to the lights like the rest of them. Her leaves are a little droopy, but not to much time worry about. Depending on how my G.C's look, I might flip them to flower next Saturday.. not sure yet. Still controlling the water temps with frozen water bottles, but not as much. I add a drop a gallon of super thrive every day for extra vitamins, and it works great. Not to much has changed, so see ya'll next update. Peace

Well it's did a rez change today. I usually change the rez on Saturday but since I had to flush the rez out on a Wednesday, I had to reset my 7 days. Anyway, here's my feeding for this week.
2 tspn of silica
2 tspn of cal-mag
2 tspn of flora micro
6 tspn of flora grow
2 tspn of flora bloom
6 drops in each of super thrive
All buckets are ranging from 900 to 1000 ppm's and ph is range from 5.9 to 6.1. I know my green cracks won't be where I want them to be by next Wednesday but that's when I'm flipping to 12/12. All girls are healthy, even my G.S.C is looking better. I have a lot of new root growth on all girls ever since I've been giving them a peroxide bath every time I change my rez. AK47 XTREM is doing great. She's been looking healthy ever since she popped up. She does more praying to the light then the rest. I cut a few leaves from the bottom of both G.S.C and AK47 XTREM, for better air flow and faster growth. I will put the scrog net in next week when I flip to flower, then start weaving as they grow.

Just a small update. Since my last resort change, things has been looking good. Tomorrow I will be flushing them out with fresh ph water and a tspn of flora kleen. I also will give them a peroxide bath for just 1 day. I will top both my green cracks today, put trellis in after I change res on Wednesday, and start my flowering cycle that same day. Temps has been low these past few days, so my res has not been that warm but still warmer than I like. All girls ppm's are in the mid 900's and ph is 5.8 in all. Can't wait to see these girls flower out. Here's some pics.

Another week down. This is the time I was waiting for. Today is the day I start my 12/12 cycle. I noticed that the flora series runs hot, so fromantic here on out, I'm running half strength.
3 days before I flipped the lights to 12/12, I cleaned up the bottom a little bit. The next day, I cleared the rez and put PH water and 6 tspn of peroxide in it till the next day. Today I changed the rez to the transtional feeding, 2 teaspoons of the flora series, cal-mag, silica, and 5 drops of super thrive.
I put the trellis on today as well. Due to the Temps being low for the past few days, my Temps has been good. My ppm's are 800 to 860 and ph is 5.8 to 6.1. My 2 green cracks are not tall enough to reach the trellis, but it won't take long before I have to start weaving them through.

3 days later and things are still looking good. PPM'S are all under 800 and the PH on all is 5.9. Today, I added Kool bloom and flora nectar to the rez, just as a top off. The next time I change my rez I will add the Kool bloom and flora nectar to the feeding. Node stacking on most of the branches look great and some are stretchy. My AK47 XTREM is the best looking one out the bunch, then comes my green crack #1. Green crack #2 lookso good as well, just a little smaller then #1. Girl scout cookies looks good, but for some reason I think something is not quite right with her. When I prune some of the fan leaves, by hand, they just feel dehydrated. When I prune my AK47 XTREM and green crack #1, I get a crisp snap and some water might squirt on my finger nails. For the most part, the all look healthy. No nute burn and no pests.
My carbon filter has a funny smell to it. It's not that old, and I only hook the filter up when I'm in the flowering stage. Other than that, I leave it unhooked. So I don't know what could be the issue. "May it cheap".
Other then that 420, things are cruising along just fine. Next update will be in 4 days when I change my rez. Peace.

Week 1 of flower down and things are looking alright. I noticed some changes in how my girls are growing. I don't know if it's the light (800watt king double chip led) or the exhale co2 bag. Now I know the co2 bag has helped in the growth, but where my 300watt ipower led light is hitting, the leaves look much healthier. I've been having some thoughts about my 800watt light, like it's really a crappie light but I'm not 100% sure. I got it off amazon so maybe some of ya'll can look it up to see if the lights good or bad.
Anyway, I switched the lights around to see if that's the issue. If that is the issue, then it's back to my ipower 400watt hps.
I changed the rez today, so here is my ppm's and ph reading
GSC- PPM'S 938 PH 5.9
AK47 XTREM-PPM'S 960 PH 5.9
GC#1- PPM'S 820 PH 5.9
GC#2- PPM'S 830 PH 5.8
Temps are 79° Humidity 62
62 is high for my taste but my small dehumidifier just can't cut it. I'm sure it will drop as the Temps outside drop... hopefully. Other than that, I'm just tucking the leaves and letting her grow. Here's some pics.

Just a 4 day update. For some reason I can't upload my photos, saying low on memory space, which I'm not understanding. Anyway, the only major thing I did so far is removed my scrog net. Their not that big, I don't think they will need it just yet. I took it off 2 day ago, an since then, they stretched up a little bit. My wife green cracks, which are the smaller ones haven't shown any pistols yet. I think that's because I flowered them too early. The GSC and AK47 XTREM started showing pistols about a day or 2 ago. This is day 11 in flower. On the top off yesterday I added a gallon to my GSC and AK47 XTREM which had 2 tablespoons of roots organic (bat guano) and 4 teaspoons of diamond nectar. My green cracks added a half gallon to each with the same feeding. My last 2 grows I used a scrog net so I figured, before it's too late, let me see how I can do with out one.
Anyway ppm's are between 780 - 850 and ph 5.6 - 6.0. Temps and humidity are 75°-79° 55%-61%. So far to say everything looks good.

So I done some more changes and I think I'm just going to leave it how it is. I took off the trellis cause I didn't like the way it was growing. After I took it off they shot up kind of quick. All my girls ppm's are under 920 so everything is fine with that and their ph levels range from 5.7 and 6.0. A few days later, I did a real good lollypopping. In doing all of this, I know this has something to do with my slow bud production. That's all I'm doing, other than removing a few fan leaves for better light penetration. I did my rez change yesterday and as of now, their resting at.
GSC-PPM'S =1010 PH=6.0
AK47 XTREM- PPM'S 1000 PH=5.8
GC#1-PPM'S-967 PH=5.8
GC#2-PPM'S 899 PH=5.8
Temps are 73°-77° and humidity is 47%-61%
Those temps change from time to time but it depends on the weather. For the most part the lowest my Temps has been is 68°for. I know I will need a heater soon but not a real expensive one. Here's some pics I just took✌

Day 21 and counting. Girls still looking good. My GC#1 took off from my GC#2. #2 looks like she just stop growing, like she's didn't go through her full stretch. She just started showing her sex. #1started showing pistols about 3 days ago and she stretched real good and she still looks like she bushing out, so I'm happy.
AK47 XTREM is doing awesome. She has been the healthiest through out this whole grow. I have yet to have a problem with her. No burn tips, no deficiencies, no nothing. She might be behind a little bit because of the last lollypopping I gave her, but other than that, she's been a beast. All things are well.
GSC is slow growing, and has not looked to healthy the whole grow. I've tried just about everything and she just has not come around. I've been babying them this whole grow, so I don't know what's wrong. She's producing flowers, just slowly. Maybe it was just a bad seed from jump.
I was changed the rez today and gave them a peroxide bath. I do that every rez change just to be on the safe side. Here's my reading for today.
GSC- PPM'S =1300 PH=5.8
AK47- PPM'S =1170 PH=5.7
GC#1- PPM'S =1080 PH=5.8
GC#2- PPM'S =1150 PH=5.8
Temps lightso on = 73°-79° lights off 68°- 63°
Humidity ranges from 43% - 51%

3 days later and things are still looking good. I usually top off today but for some reason they haven't drank must since rez change. Flowers on AK 47 XTREM is starting to show some size. Could be a little bigger but due to the last lollypopping I think she slowed down some to repair itself. The first 3 pics are AK47 XTREM

GSC has shown no signs of snapping out whatever funk she's in. Bud formation is kind of slow, but forming none the less. Every other day I do a lite defoliation to let some light down in the canopy. Other than that, things are on cruise control.

GC#1&#2 are doing fine. Their both done with their stretching and needs to be lollypopped. They both look healthy and are showing their flowers. Not expecting a lot from these 2, but I will let them get to a 80%-90% amber trichcone state. Trying to get something great out of something small.
