New Beginner Grow - Outdoor Hawaii

If you are serious about this you need to dedicate some time to clean up the closet (take everything out, clean the walls with a detergent, mild bleach mix and set up the grow room properly). I would also re-clean and paint the grow box if you plan on using it. The last thing you want 6 foot monsters covered in mold because the box was dirty...

now i dont have one of those on the island,
all i have is home depot lowes and city mill haha
do they have some?
how would i wire them too?
Im also investing in an hps system for the grow box.
I heard a 600w bulb is only about $15 ?
but what holds the bulbs?

check out wat i did for lights, they were pretty cheap to set up and real easy to move.
then i mounted them to a piece of wood with zip ties and it cam out like this:
maybe that will help you with ideas. other people have come up with other interesting lighting ideas also. Look around the grow room set-up pics.
Aloha from the Big Island. Sorry I have not been back to your grow. I lost my navigation. Yes you may get all that and more from City Mill or HD or Lowes. No Fred Meyer as is in the NW. But check out your local Farm & Garden shops for soils and nutes. Is that the size of grow box you would be using for the 600w HPS DON"T.

Looks from here the fan may have some drying up /burn effects on that little one you show.
What are your overall goals to achieve in your grow? Indoors or outdoors? or as I do both indoors and outdoors. We have the best of a 365 day season here in Hawaii to utilize.
I would advise you to start at least 6-10 more plants as back ups, if you can.
Keep them inside that box on a 18/6 cylcle consistantly to get them up and going.

but in oahu,
it been constant rain,
for about 2 weeks now,
there will be a few days of sun but the clouds kick in fast.
Im sure its because its winter time,
but every day that is sunny i put them out for sure.
I just use indoors durning the rain.

Heyy guys,
Long time no post,
My fault.
Well anyways,
I just had some free time and i wanna post an update.
Currently i have 7 plants in flower,
As well as 7 plants in veg right now.
Over the course of the plants life,
I have been thinking that this is really serious and its sort of become like a hobby or something. Idk,
Taking care of the plants is just really fun, and i like to see them grow.
I have a germination box, grow box, outdoors, cloning facility( WORKS TOO!!!)
i have 2 in the germination box, none in the grow box lol and i have 1 clone lol.
Now ,
I am currently also growing my plants without any nutes and only growing them outdoors.
I have a question as well,
Does nutes greatly effect the growth of the plant?
Also,
What kind of strains do some of you like the best
Im looking for quality.
Also,
Does anyone know how to create different strains? the strain i would like to see is my big bud plant crossed with kona gold or mabye this strain called diseal(my buddy gave me some seeds and the buds looked good as well as carried a great high.)

for quality, I'm sorry to say depends on preferance. I like both extremes, alot. lol Love a sweet sativa, vietnamese black mmmmmm. For an indica there is sooo many out there that will knock yer socks off, but I really the hash plants....anything afgh, paki, etc... love the earthy musky flavor.

also, Im not sure if you've decided to go with my setup or not, but be careful of heat issues. I had awful heat problems when i first started that setup. Make sure you have a good exhaust fan and you should be fine.

Here are my veg plants, the one in the left corner is a month old, the other two are about 10 days behind it.
( Sorry the quality is not so great, i was reallyy buss that night

Idk what to do!
I tryed to pick of the buds that had it on top but idk!

mold is tough to deal with...my advise is probably to dump the molded plants. You could try to grow them out to cook with but i wouldnt smoke it. And keep the moldy plants away from the healthy ones, you dont want the mold to spread.
