New to growing

it's my first time growing pot. I am trying with a couple ruderalis plants. One is about 2 ft tall and been growing for 4 months. I heard its supposed to auto flower, so my question is do I need to adjust the light to 12/12 or can I just leave it on 24/7??

Hey brother I believe if it was auto flower it would have flowered long ago... autos dont need a 12/12 to flower. And they usually start in about a month,
I have heard they like 20/4...
But if no buds yet then you have a photo and you need to switch to 12/12 to initiate flowering.

When you say ruderalis do you just mean a straight up hemp plant? But im inclined to agree if its an autoflower strain it would have started flowering already.
