I'm glad you figured out your problem. Its heart breaking to get this far and start having problems with your grow. Looks like you caught it in plenty of time. Your plants still look great. This week has been exciting for me. Three of my plants are ready to harvest. I have one that will probably be another week. So it will be a busy and fun weekend for me.
Yea you have a busy few days ahead of you.
Just a suggestion which im sure youve seen before
chop as you go
Dont just chop an armful of branches.
Chop 1 trim it hang it chop the next

With as much as you have your going to get tired of trimming very quickly!

This will also allow the buds you cut down later to ripen a bit more until you can get to them.

Im glad i caught this problem when i did it doesnt seem to be effecting the indicas much.
theres a bud that looks about as wide as a pop can lol

The sativa just cant get it together.

Im sure theyll finish strong.

Im anxious to know you yield!
Did you get your bubble bags for the hash yet?
Can you please journal your process and results?

Those are looking delicious man. How many weeks yet to harvest?
The indicas 4 maybe 5 weeks

The sativa in the back i dont know im just gunna eyeball it honestly lol
If it doesnt pull it together i wont push it past 6 more weeks

No sense in wasting nutes and energy not to mention
I dont really want to be running this hps during the warm moist weather that seems to be coming sooner than expected

Once this grow is over i can focus on my led fixture

i have a clone of the indica and im thinking a 1 plant scrog under 6 cobs

So the sooner i finish this grow the sooner i can start that.

As much as im reading on this site i should be updating more

My apologies...

There has been alot going on and alot that needs to be journaled.

It seems we have run out of winter weather here..
This is very unfortunate because running my light at 100% is no longer doable.

Theres no way for my to change the setup the plants are just too big.
So for now im adjusting as needed.

More on this in a moment.

As far as my calmag issue i believe its clearing up but its still to early to tell.
It has stopped it seems tho.

I watered yesterday with just water and calmag.
Phd a little higher at 6.9 - 7.0
I dont think theyll need water until monday
Which is when ill be switching from bud candy to bloombastic.

The indicas should be done in 4 the sativa in 6 is what im aiming for with the heat i may have to consider harvesting a little on the early side but thats ok.

I also pulled some of the worst leaves and a few shading buds.
I am waiting for a good defoil until i know the cal mag issue is cleared up.

The sativa does look like its bulking up a bit and sugar production seems to have started again but nowhere near the indicas.

The runt northern lights i feel i dont pay much attention to her but thats because shes given me the least amount of problems shes shorter than her sisters but packing on comparable weight

So my hope is that i can save enough money for a cob setup.
But that might not be doable at the moment .
So i may have to settle for a cheaper led board in order to grow during the summer months.

I cant help but think that if i spend 300 bucks on a mars i couldve just saved another 300 and got my cobs!

Ill have to figure this out soon because this grow is almost over and its getting warm. Also i habe some plants vegging that ill need to do something with.

Will a mars really help my heat issues?

Im almost certain cobs will!

Ive even though of viparspectra.

The moisture is coming with the heat and id probably retire if i lost this one to mold too!

Anyway enough rambling thankyou for stopping by and all suggestions and opinions welcome.

So my cob system might not be that much of a dream after all!

Little bit of saving and im hoping to have it soon!

I WILL NOT GROW WITH HPS IN THE SUMMER!

When i do get my new array

These are the females that ill be more than likely scrogging.

One is a clone from the northern lights thats doing amazing right now.

The bigger one is from the 12/12 from seed that i had in those solo cups if you guys remember
I had 3 and only 1 showed pistils the other 2 never showed anything.
I uppotted it and reveged it took a while but its going strong!

The node spacing on both of these is ridiculously tight.

The big one was topped when it first started to reveg

The little clone i just upotted last night it was drying out so fast in the solo i had no choice
It has not been topped yet waiting until i have more room for it before i do.

Next run will be just these 2 under a scrog of course and hopefully underneath 310 watts of cobs
These 2 are going to be monsters either way very long veg times and tons of lst in their future

So were week 7 from the flip as of yesterday but today the tops of the soil is dry so i mixed up week 7 nutes.

This week consist of
Grow
Micro
Bloom
B52
Bigbud at 6ml per gal
Bloombastic at 2ml per gal

I think next week i may start the overdrive and begin to wrap things up.

Cal mag issue appears to be back.
I dont think theres enough time left to even bother trying to correct it.

The buds on the indicas are rock hard!
And very frosty!
Hopefully the bloombastic and eventually overdrive helps with a little more and size in the final weeks.

The sativa im very unhappy with for so many reasons. I think just because of its size itll produce a decent amount of bud.
But there are seeds :( which explains the lack of bud size.
And possibly a list of other problems.

I dont see any seeds on the indicas but maybe thats why im seeing the calmag issues because of pollination?
I need to look more into this for sure

Another big reason to wind this one down is the trichs are very milky with some clear here and there. Not much amber in there yet so thats a good thing as i dont want more than 15-20% amber.

The weather has been beautiful outside which means my tent is a desert heat wise unless i turn my ballast down to 75%.

Humidity is around 40% and lower ive noticed it slowly creeping up as the weather outside begins to change

So far so good considering everything ill post pics soon

Damn bro your journal is lit!!!

LOUD ONLY
Thanks kane i appreciate that!

This grow didnt go the way i wanted it to at all!
I learned alot tho especially the scrog!

the next time i do it knowing what to expect should make it super easy.

I know hermies and their offspring should be avoided like the plague

I know that 3 gal pots make for more watering and happyfrog calls for way more feeding and way earlier!

Theres a long ass list of things i can look back on and better my future grows.

Not to mention the fact that everyone who has followed and contributed has been very helpful and id like to think that in some way friendships or connections were made and thats even more valuable than the grow itself!

I don't know what your trippin on mi amigo, those sativas look great.

Sent from my SM-G355M using 420
Lol thanks dean honestly tho the pictures help alot!

Theres so many thing going on with that plant!

For one its a technically hermie by genetics and its just not putting on weight its doing more foxtailing than it is getting dense
when you look at an indica bud next to one it looks like week 1 in sugar production
Theres a few visible seeds
It just didnt go the way i planned for it

I may let it go longer since someone has taken interest in its well being lmao

All I grow is hybrid sativa from Mexico and they don't bulk up until wk 8, yours are looking right on track. When did you count the first day of flower?

Sent from my SM-G355M using 420
This grow i counted from the day i flipped.
So january 8th was day 1 of 12/12.

How long do you think they have left? Ive never successfully grown a sativa.
So im winging it really...

Not So Rookie Anymore

The longest time I went with my sativa hybrids is 11 weeks.

Sent from my SM-G355M using 420
Thats only 4 more weeks thats not bad!

Thanks dean you may have just put the last few weeks of this grow into perspective for me.

I like to run these northern lights about 10 or 11 weeks from the flip so like 8 or 9 counting a good flush.

I checked the plants today the northern lights are starting to get noticably more orange hairs
so what i think ill do is start the overdrive next week for the indicas ending them in 3 weeks
And start the sativas the week after next ending them in 4?

What do you think should i go longer?

Are you counting 11 weeks from flipping 12/12 or when they start flowering?
