O.G. Kush - Day 78 Flower

Have a question for all you 420'ers out there.. Any input from any level grower would be greatly appreciated and put to good use !!

Ill be short and simple, however below I will provide detailed information about my grow as well as a link to any other info you may need.

MY QUESTION IS..
"How long until my OG KUSH buds (calyx's), swell like the pictures provided below mine?"

My Day 78 OG Kush 18, currently flowering.

Random pictures I found while researching for a comparasin, I want to know how long until calyx's swell in uniform and almost all red-hairs have seemed to disapeer.

(I WANT MY OG TO FINISH LIKE THESE ^)
-Minimal Red-Hairs (Check)
-Dominating Calyx to leaf ratio (Check)
-Coated mature couch-lock trichs (Check)



Current Facts on my OG 18..
(I noticed calyx swelling up towards the bottoms of the colas and lower branches, some of the larger calyx's are the size of a pinky nail while top of colas calyx's are still petite, pencil-tip shaped)

(Trichchromes are mostly milky/cloudy with underlying clear and few to no amber on actual calyxes.)

(Plant is in week 11 of flower, day 78, feeding molasses and ph'd RO for last 5 days.. dropped calmag and canna a+b)

(Large fan leaves dropping with minor withering towards outer edge on some, smaller leaves yellowing around edges throughout with touches of red/purple preceding inbetween leaf blades.. Showing signs of ripening)

also i have noticed toward the bottoms of the cola's and on the lower branches some MAJOR swelling of individual Calyx's..

Should I expect every individual calyx top to bottom to swell on colas to this size?

(This calyx is about the size of an entire pinky-finger nail, or for a more approximate measurement its about .4 inches wide and about .5 inches tall, with a bulbous look and dark red hair hiding, Trichs are cloudy w/ 10% amber on this lower branch)

Heres another example of what Im looking for.. How long until top calyx's look swollen like this?

After flushing let the plant dry out for 5 days then feed it, the calyx should fatten up and finish faster than 11 weeks, more like 9 if the plants are grown under optimal condition. Other than that just have to be patient and wait, could take 1-2 more weeks.

good looks twelve12, I had a week setback due to salt build ups burning few leaves.. After having corrected everything she seemed to be back on track. I will have to try your method of watering/ flushing every other week next time. I used CoCo last grow, mainly flushing every other week and had great results. I got lazy with the soil, maybe flushing 2-3 times total in 11 weeks..... (1-2 times in the last month alone, much happier plant)

Should I expect uniform calyx growth from top to bottom?? Some underlying calyxes are HUGE, clusters making up giant buds BUT cola top calyx still seem tiny.. Like they are waiting to swell until the very last few days..

Anyone experience this??

mehh thanks anyways 420..... harvest is tonight, trichs look cloudy with amber but IDK maybe im losing serious weight by not letting them go 13 weeks? I GUESS ILL NEVER KNOW

i understand I dont have 1000-2000 posts, however with over 200 people reading this I would atleast THINK more than one person could help me... Seems like if you dont play the forum game no one is willing to give any adivce...

(dont get me wrong, it isn't always but 95% of the time I ask for help I dont even receive as much as a reply.. and dont try to tell me that I didn't provide enough info for you to help answer my question if that was going to be your excuse)

I think if you had a grow journal going, a lot of people would be checking it out and subscribing to it.

THEN when you ask a question like you did here, everyone who has been following your grow and posting in your thread will more likely give their advice if they have any, since they feel like they are a part of your grow.

Again and43, if you would have bothered to done any research or even look a little further down the thread you would have seen my Signature where in Red Letters it reads "OG Kush Late-In-Flower"

This thread in my SIG is exactly where I asked the same question days prior to posting it this thread.... Still With no response (which is okay I do understand not every1 has the answer.. But I know for a fact some one who is to lazy to type an answer in can help me but chooses not to because i don't have 2000 posts and a million 420 points...)

I can't speak for everyone, but I didn't respond because I've never grown OG Kush before. In fact, OG Kush is a tough strain to find so it will be tough to find answers from those with experience growing it.

There is so much great info on this site I really hate to see someone bashing it, and its members just because no one answered your thread. I say relax, keep reading and updating your journal. Ask questions when you have them, just remember some questions are much harder to answer than others.

I know this is an old thread but did you ever find out the answer to your question? But for future reference for people who read this later it varies from breeder to breeder just because it has the same name doesn't mean it's exactly the same...Chances are really good there will be different phenotypes by chances I mean like 95% lol but I have DinaFem's OG Kush and if you found out your answer buddy please post or PM me I would like to know as well.

I agree with the op. If youre not playing the ass kissing game that this site is known for then nobody wants to help! For instance I had a grow journal going with nice plants and nobody had much to say. But I see terrible growers with shit plants being over fertilized and everyone is saying hey man your plants look awesome. I wish i had your grow!!! Then i try to give a lil advice about maybe feed a lil less and I'm an asshole!!! This site sux unless you're here to kiss ass or have yours kissed.

Lol I personally love the necrosis of the bump, I got here from a Google hit on "ogkush weeks flower" search.
And thought to my newb self WTF is this guy doing in week 11+ of flower...but now I've learned that I've got to puckerup to some big posters to get help....not bloody likely . (I've always got an answer quite quickly)
People help if they have an answer, maybe nobody wanted to tell this poor guy that: if your in week 11, you've fucked up something much eariler and should harvest that crop and move on

I'm too new to be jaded, just happy my girls are growing and in week 3 of flower. I'm going to be a newb now and trim my lower branches and see if I can get 8-10 clones (I know I'm late, but I'm learning fast by making every mistake and loving it)
