OG Kush, Jack Herer, Chemberry Grow Journal

Your replies are working correctly. No worries. I'm also a big fan of the chemdawg/sour diesel family your chemberry sounds very promising. I have a bagseed strain of unknown origins that I keep around, it's tasty and makes nice colors we call her bagseed Barbie.
I'm actually thinking about going back to the pureblend pro line. My last two runs after switching to KIND tasted terrible. But I'm also strongly leaning towards giving dynagrow a try

I was recommended Botaincare from a friend so I went with it, I think it’s great, smells more natural than the others I’ve tried. Haven’t tried Kind or Dinagrow. So far I think the plant genes have more to do with it, I tried Botaincare and Advanced Nutrients on the same strain over a year and they all looked, smelled, and tasted the same. Idk, could be the Ocean Forest, I don’t feed much in soil unless it’s outdoor. Or could be that they are both real good similar products.

Got a shot of OG’s 11 fan. Wasbrhinkin about topping her. I’ve topped every plant I’ve grown to date. I got nothing in the flower tent so I think I’ll just let her go without the top. Always been curious to see how fat the main cola will get without topping.

9/8/2018 - OG day 36; Chemberry day 21; Jack Herer day 12: Just realized I was a day off in my last entry. Everyone looks good. OG is eating like a pig in the new 5 gallon pot, her leaves have gotten dark green, still no nutes, all the soil/organically fortified coco. I stripped her lower growth, took a few clones, and flipped to 12/12 today, she woke up early so I’ll call tomorrow flower day 1. Her 5 gallon pot is 10 inch to the top of soil, and she’s 10 inches, 20 inch total. I hope she only stretches to 45 inch max, I think I should be good. I’ve only grown topped plants and they usually stretch about 1.5 to 2x. I used to run a 48” tall veg tent and I’d let the plants get 32” before flowering, top like 3 or 4 times and then stick em in a 7 foot tent and I was fine. This time I’ve got smaller plants but a smaller tent too. I’ve also never flowered a plant this small, so idk if that plays any role in determining stretch, I’d imagine the longer you veg, the less they stretch in flower. Off to Chemberry, she looks good, getting greener, finally showing her 5 fingers. Jack’s leaves look a little warped, i think she’s good, pumping out her set of 3 fingers.

GTH, welcome to 420 mag. !! I just finished growing og kush. Dynamite smoke for sure !! Very Interesting combination of mediums. Hope you're feeding the chemberry everyday? You're gonna see that the coco/perlite (chemberry) will or should grow much faster than the soil plants. I just switched from coco to a commercial organic super soil. Anyhow, subbed and good luck !!

9/12/2018: OG is 14” and growing pike crazy. 11 finger leaves the size of my hand. Chemberry looks great, baby stem fully shed, her new stem is all green, getting thicker by the day. Her skin appears to shed in a manner that I haven’t seen. Shes has healthy 7 finger leaves, smaller, pointier, and thinner than the OG Kush. All stems and branches look very healthy and green. Feeding .75ml of each 3 part flora series, PPM comes out around 550. Her clones should be ready by early next week, possibly earlier. She was transplanted into her final 3 gallon cloth pot today in about 40% perlite, 60% cana coco. Roots were everywhere. I had to wash the coco, it came in with PPM around 350. Fed 2 liters of the same flora series after transplant to make sure theres some nutes, but i flushed the coco in plain tap before this and the runoff after feeding 2 liters had a PPM of 275, hopefully the nutes are in there. Felt like too much perlite, it drains like crazy. I added a bunch of perlite at the bottom too which i think is a good idea. Jack looks great, gettin her first set of 5 leaves, she was also ready for transplant, I put her in a 1 gallon cloth pot with 100% Fox Farms Ocean Forest.

I forgot to mention, OG receiced her first feeding Monday, and again today. She received 500ppm pure blend pro bloom for the first, and 600ppm pure blend pro bloom + 150ppm pure blend pro grow for the second. This is the awkward stage i always get to in Ocean Forest, runoff PPM shows 4,700 (insane), yet plant shows classic nitrogen deficiencies on lower growth. I always feed at this pont.

Hope all is well in your world.

How did this grow turn out?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?

If you need any help with posting photos, please read our Photo Gallery Tutorial.

I am moving this to Abandoned Journals until we get updates.

Sending you lots of love and positive energy.
