Outdoor growers help

I have plants that i just planted outside today.... They are 2 weeks old, i have grown them inside till now... today i planted them outside and I have storms coming in tonight ..... just my luck lol ....is there anything i can do to protect them? i put a plastic tote over them but we have golf ball size hail coming tonight and I am scared....... anyone have any suggestions?

Water from a storm shouldn't drown a plant. If it's in the ground it should drain , even a pot wi'll dry out. In nature they grow after first rains ( in south Africa that is only the beginning of rainy season ) storms every day during the season for a few hours. The hail would do them in for sure. I’ll know tomorrow if mine are ok. It’s raining here now and temps are supposed to start dropping this afternoon. As long as they don’t freeze I have a chance I think.
