August 15.

After topping and lst I now have a somewhat even canopy.
Temps 72-80 F
Humidity around 60 percent
18-6 light schedule
Fox farm nutrients every other watering
Also top two main colas started to split from the stem. I wrapped a wire to help hold together and doused it with distilled water. Will update progress of this on future post

Nice job on those girls. Gave her some legs to let air in and no larf. Your running all of those lights in the tent ,ought to do the job . I’m gonna follow along if you don’t mind .

August 28

Extensive lollipop so I don't have to mess with it so much and switched to flower.
Fox farm plant food and big bloom nutrients every other watering.

First signs of flower after 4 days of a 12/12 light schedule.

Looking at the top left cola. Either it's nutrient burn or a nat got inside the tent last night so I sprayed neem oil inside the tent not on the plant and lowering bloom nutrients to 1/2 tablespoon per gallon for the first couple weeks of flower.

As for the discolored leaves, blooming nutrients dropped the water ph down to 5.5 for a single watering.
Has since recovered and no additional signs of deficiency.

Switched overhead light to viparspectra xs1000.

Girls are looking great ! Loving the light .
Thanks man, hopefully I made the right decision swapping the lights out. Light penetration looks good but I also learned more red/blue light will tell the plants there isn't an overhead and therefore will bloom at an increased rate..

One thing I am worried about is that I have to lower the amount nutrients I'm using because it's throwing my pH off but I know the plants need it at this stage... Still I suppose it's better then having bugs. Haha.!
General hydroponics pH kit on the way and I'm going to look for some ph adjuster tomorrow also.
Will look into top dressing my plants in the future so I don't have to worry about it so much.

Vipar spectra is a sponsor here , here’s a link to the 4000 grow with @Rexer
And @Modest Grower with the xs2000
Enjoy these two journals cause I know you will.
The ph is most easily fixed compared to a bug problem. Just got out of spider mite hell .

There's definitely a difference in visual light output if you look at the pics. This is the Viparspectra xs1000 with the meanwell driver... I was looking into buying a couple of the xs1500s for my next run and maybe another wide spectrum but I'm not sure yet tbh.
