Ok, All, This is my first attempt at creating a journal and also my first attempt at growing cannabis. This is going to be a outdoor grow in the ground. Here are the strains I started from feminized seeds under 315 cmh lights with 4200k bulbs in a 4x8 grow tent in my back garage. These are 8 to 11 weeks old at time of post. Also 2 smaller clones. I did not intend for these to be so old, I wanted to clone these and started them to early I believe, rookie lesson learned lol.
Afghan skunk x black domina
Mazar x white rhino
Cali orange skunk
White widow
Sugar black rose
There are nine plants total going into the ground and maybe 1 or 2 more in pot's or in the ground, ( I haven't decided yet).
I started these early so I could do some cloning which I never done before and I had good results and made a few friends happy with some female clones.
I picked these strains because they are supposed to be higher yield and mold/ pest resistant with a shorter flower time( needed here in Michigan I would think).
I made up a soil mixed based on coot's soil recipe and dug 9 22 x22x 22 holes. The soil consist of: 1 part 2 year old aged horse manure, 1 part sphagnum peat moss, 1 part perlite, rice hulls, course sand. Kelp meal, neem seed meal, crab meal, powdered malted barley, gypsum, oyster shell flour, paramagnetic rock dust. I might throw in some ewc in the top couple inches of the hole also.
I have been ph-ing my water but once planted in the ground I will not.
I will be using drip irrigation to water except when I use teas.
I have been using Biothrive 4-3-3 from General Organics while my plants were in the buckets but will start using teas from here on out(hopefully that is).
Here are a few random pics so far.
