Purple stocks at every flower site

Hi guys and girls

I have a Banana Kush Cake at early stages of flowering but I've recently noticed that my leaf stocks around the flowers have all turned purple on top and stayed green on the bottom stems and stocks not on bud sites seem fine.

Growing in Gold label light mix (supposed to have a PH of around 6). Although I'm getting a helluva high reading from the soil more around 7.5! Feeding the same nutes as my other plants who dont have this issue. Any ideas what's happening here?

Many thanks

Hi @IMacz and welcome to the forum! :welcome:

Your plants look great! There is nothing to be alarmed at here. The temporary darker coloration of your stalks is totally normal... this is how the plant gathers more light energy on one side of the branch vs the other, so that the leaves can move to track the sun. Save the worrying for when the leaves start showing you that something may be wrong but until then, carry on! You are doing a wonderful job with them.

Thanks Emilya that has eased my fears. I'm a bit of a noob but never seen this before
