Yup. I just watched a guy switch and he has been blown away with the results...
What ever works for ya...How long does it take to make up the diff in cost of fixture? There are economics involved more that just the gm/watt ratio.
Like this for example.
I bought a $2k LED state of the art fixture.
Does that grow me 10x more better weed than a $200 Gavita. It's not even close. HID wins in that regard.
Then factor in the watts and KWH costs over time.
Cost of replacement HID bulbs.
It's not as clear an answer as one wood make it seem.

This is a thing, especially when a technology is morphing at a high rate like LED. Hazarding a guess, I would say don't expect to be looking beyond 3-5 years time using it... it'll be in the back of the cupboard. And how many years do you actually expect to use that light...
50000 hours is a long long time. There will be something even better before then.
Nice results. I've never seen those lights.I understand completely … when I started growing again and led's where quite the topic a couple years ago ...I went with what I thought would give me good results having all the spectrums I needed and uv,uvb,ir along with par etc etc ..they weren't full spectrum as a matter of fact you can see them in my sig...long story short after some issues towards the end of flowering any run I did with them I through research was led to spectrum king ...and well I wish I would have invested my money there first even if would have only been on a closet case to check them out . I love these lights and in regards to cost I agree they are pricey but they are very competitively priced in the market they are in .
here is a pic of the 402's in action last grow.
I say post up plant photos that include lights in the shot, unless your not proud of what your getting with your lights... Opinions are one thing, results tell the story. Mines on page two and it was just flipped to 12/12...
Enough opinions, let's see what ya got.
No problems here or with you... I want to see what ALL these light can do, not what the light looks like. You can see my light in my display pic.
If you're response was directed to what I said I was in no way implying that qb's are inferior in any way. Any fixture using top bin samsung diodes is on top atm. What I am talking about is cost. Cost efficiency is all led lights are about atm until new info comes out in the future. My point was that for the price and cheaper, you can get 2 pucks for one qb, resulting in 142 more diodes.
Nice results. I've never seen those lights.
I just saw the price... No wonder I don't know about them.
What ever works for ya...
All grow spaces are not created equal.
