Thanks alot for taking the time to look. The clones were taking from the mom 3 weeks ago. So the only thing i can come up with isthat certain seed/pheno has a tendency to burn quick or bad. Its just looks so strange to me. Ive only been in the grow game since feb doing research everyday so i dnt kno shit really. I mean i got plenty of knowledge from this site alone, but i guess the more i grow the better at seeing these things will come. The one plant that really was bad the one in thephoto of the veg plant is just kinda hanging in veg until i see new growth or im trashing it. As for the clones, i did flush them and will def wait it out. The other plants are growing daily,amazing thos flower thing. Today is day 11. Lil flowers just begining to slightly form,the pistals have really come out. My humidity is way high so i gotta get a dehumidifer friday. I dont know why i decided to flower in summer for my first fckn grow,but im also now battling fungus gnats or fuck gnats as i call them. Sns which is a sponser of this great site will be myroute friday. Just annoying not the worst ug to have but they just piss neoff. They can get to your roots ive heard. Anyways thanks for chillen in this mini journal we have. Kinda a combo journal between me nd you lol. Hopefully i can get my neew beans soon and start a real journal for the fall. What seed comp do you use if yu dont mind me asking? Hope by friday i can have better news....... Hows your grow going lets see some pics for the weekend! Stay green cheese
 
I hope your NL is growing out of its bad stage. Luckily I haven't had to deal with bugs yet but I'm guessing my time will come. I started out doing hydro only, then did some AutoPots with Just Right Xtra soil, and now I have my OG13's daughter in a purely soil setup in a Smart Pot. I'll probably try some heavy defoliation on that one to see how things turn out.

New to forums, new to growing. Did a good amount of a research (I thought, apparently not). I have an in closet set-up using a metal halide lamp, approx 22 inches from top of plants. Enclosed with a makeshift aluminum barrier. Started all seed in paper towel till sprouted (about 7days). Put in a soil + compost mix (only 15% comp) small about 2in jiffy container. Kept outside during day (humidity in the 40s and temp high 90s) but kept in shady area and under MH lamp at night, ultimately giving them 24 hours. Watered with non carbonated mineral water. Plant is now 11 days old and the first two spear headed leaves have come out but the tow lover ones are shrivling up towards the stem and the ends are brown. I can see two tiny little leaves in the middle. There has been no change in height. Stunted. No longer putting plant outdoor, keeping it in under MH lamp 24 hours, temp reading is 84 degrees and humidity is at 45%. I changed the lighting to 18/6 and now the soil isn't drying out so fast which is leading me to not water it as much. But the tips of the leaves are now yellowing and turning a little brown.

I started them all in jiffy-strips 1.75" Sq. x 2" H, the one that was doing the best I moved to a jiffy-pot 3" Dia. x 3" H.
Both the little two on the bottom and the two big ones are all turning yellow and curling up. They were very green and firm but are now a paler green, and super thin.

Keep the humidity high for the first week above ground. Id bet your getting nute burn from that soil your using. Alot of soil out there isnt for mmj. I dnt use soil im a coco person so ive never had a soil problem. If you could post some pics and what strain it is that would also help. I use 18/6 def good to switch to that. Welcome there are so many great growers on this site. Stick around and youll get great help! :welcome:

Thanks! Gonna do some research on the coco thing :nomo: Changing the soil today hopefully they will come back to life. Would you recommend buying a small humidifier? What about mold? :battingeyelashes: THANKS AGAIN!

Hey thats def nute burn. Exactly what my plant looked like. I fed way to early,since coco has no nutes and runs like hydro its very easy to work with. Theres a thread on this site started by bid if you search for it you can learn alot. Also if you google asked coco thats another great post. I simply flushed my girl and backed off a little and this is what she looks like today

I also did purchase a very small humidifier. You will need to drop the humidity during flower thou especially the last 2-3 weeks

1. GH Flora Series. I pretty much follow their basic recirculation/hydro schedule and carefully watch my concentrations to keep them below 1300ppm. I use RO water and always add calcium and magnesium. I provide a couple additions per grow of Great White mycorrhizae. Additionally I add GH KoolBloom during flowering. I get my calcium and magnesium from Kelp4Less.com as it is a lot cheaper than the premixed brand name stuff and I can add each independently.

2. The yellow things are plant yoyos that i use to keep some of the branches growing upward. I use a trellis net on the top of my tent to give me plenty of locations to hang the yo-yos.







3. I don't have a USB scope, however, I have eyed them up. I'm using an OlloClip on my iPhone. It comes with a macro, wide, and fisheye lens. It's a fun accessory for an iPhone and the lenses appear to be decent quality. Here are some macro examples.



 
Hey whats up. Today is day 17 flower! I decided to pull my one northern lights. She hasnt thrown any pistals besides preflowers. I dont want a hermie so ill just use the room for my biggest plant to stretch out more. I still have 1 feminised seed of each nirvana northern lights and wonder women. Im going to take the last clones from this bunch wensday. Ill decide to keep a mom or what. Pics came out a little shitty with the ipad sorry. Hope i can get some nice shots next time. Happy 4th to youall. Today is day 20 since 12/12. I have 5 large girls and 9 sog style clones. I took the last round of clones from this bunch today. Im gonna put 3 more in flower and keep one in dwc toveg a little bit. So far t he bud production seems to be pretty good. Its my first grow somi dnt know what to expect. Its fun. Love this hobby. Love nugs. Anyways hope everyone stays green. Peaz

Hey Crzywhte69 - got your PM but I don't have enough posts to reply via pm so replying here.

I leave the drip ring in and running the entire time. I have a 4" aeration disk in the GH Waterfarm sump running on it's own dual outlet air pump and I have another dual outlet air pump running the drip ring. I just use a little tee fitting to combine the outlets of each pump. I previously used a single dual outlet pump to run each and good results. I figured I had a couple spare pumps that I'd just beef up the amount of air flow to the dripper and air stone.

The GH Waterfarm only holds about 2.3 gallons in the reservoir so it is a daily chore to refill it. I typically see the plants consuming about 1 to 1.5 gallons a day in vigorous vegetation and early to mid flowering. I built a controller bucket with a reservoir for pretty cheap out of a float valve and a couple Home Depot buckets.

I'm going to post some updated pics to your thread of my two plants 8.5 and 4 weeks from flip. I did some heavy defoliation on the the younger one so I'm looking forward to seeing how well it yields in comparison to my other plant. However, not really a great comparison since the nearly mature one is in hydro and the second one is in soil. I'm using the Tropf Blumat dripper in the soil and so far it has been great especially when going away for a long weekend.

Thanks for the info. Your big girl is fatten up. Looks sic! Just got my seed order today super excited. Girls are doing good yields look decent to the eye. We shall see. Nice your defoilating. I couldnt suggest any one thing more to a grower in my opinion. If you do it right,its the best tool in your belt imo. Anyways hope all is well. Give some pics on the weekend. Today is day 38.12/12
