Starting From The Beginning

This is going to be a little long winded as I was told to explain everything I do.

2 Vivosun’s 150 watts @50%
Mother Earth Soil
Espoma Seed Stater Mix
Glacial Rock Dust
Solo cups
Domes or plastic bags

Prep: 1 tsp of Espoma Seed Starter Mix, cover with bag or dome and let sit for 12-14 days covered. Temps should be around 68-78 degrees in the grow area.

During the 12-14 days, I will prepare my natural inputs: Corn SST, Red Bean SST, LABS.

My flowering season begins August 12-14th and runs until Nov go 14-17th.

I normally use regular seeds as I find the terpenes to be slightly better. For this grow log, I can’t waste any time as I only have 6.5 weeks of vegging remaining. The first two weeks will be spent indoors and the remainder outside in 2 gallon grow bags.

Seeds dropped at 7:50pm EST, 6/28 with 3mls of seaweed/kelp and water

Lemon Tree by HATT Seed Co
Lemon Skunk x Sour Diesel

Strawberry OG by The Cali Connection
Bruce Banner #3 x Tahoe OG

Black Opal x Zkittles by Irvine Seeds
Zebra Stripe x Mother of Dragons x Gushers

Zangria by Green Point Seeds
Zkittlesa5 x Purple Punch

Thank you Captain Lucky, Tolkin Roll and Carmen Ray for getting me going.

So far so good! Looks like a great set of genetics! Good luck!
Thank you Emilya for the complement. I saw the “proper way to water a potted plant”. I was just speaking to another grower about water channeling and his dry spots in the soil ( I pulled his root ball out and showed him). Proper soil hydration is an often missed technique.

Today is prep work day. Soil has to be prepared and ready for transplant in 12-14 days. Once transplanted, all seedlings will go outside for the remainder of the life cycle. ***When using dry amendments, it usually takes 12-14 days to become active in the soil. Dry amendments lasts in the soil for about 35-40 days. Amending every 30 days is my practice of choice.

Equipment:
1. 2 gallon grow bags
2. Mother Earth Soil ( Groundswell)
3. Measuring spoons
4. Jobe’s 4-4-4 all purpose
5. Azomite
6. Glacial Rock Dust
7. 25 gallon Rubbermaid tub with lid

I added 8 gallons of soil to a large 25 gallon bin. Added 1.5 TBSP of 4-4-4 per gallon of soil (12 TBSP), 3 TBSP Glacial Rock Dust, 1 TBSP Azomite.

I then add 6.2 pH’d water until the soil is throughly hydrated. I take a stick and then aggressively mix all sides and corners to make sure soil has zero dry spots.

I fill the labeled bags with soil and then store the bags in the bin sealed until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted. Preparing the soil will ensure there is zero transplant shock and roots are ready to expand immediately ( use Mykos or Azoz during all transplants).

Part 2: LABS is already prepared. Corn SST, and Red Bean SST have been started. The natural inputs ( natural plant growth regulators -PGR’s) helps with growth at the roots and lateral growth and branching ( auxins and cytokinins).

Have a great weekend!!!

Had to start over, a buddy of mine needed help so I gave him all the strains I started with ( I have a large outdoor grow). So this is the new tray going on for the fall/early winter indoors. One of my good friends who is a breeder gave me one of his strains, The Churches Money (12 seeds dropped) . I am not allowed to release the genetics until notified. Next up are 3 Rainbow Beltx x GSC ( blue pheno), 3 Pure Vida by Bodhi, Cannalope Kush by DNA genetics, Brothers Grimm: Genius Juice, Rosetta 78, Vijackra. The Churches Money is my main focus, the remaining are my smoke choices for the late winter early spring.
