Cherry Garcia
Lemon Sour Diesel
Plant of the Grape Ape

Theses ladies are wild and all natural. And a case of Spider Mites. At this size they were still in solo cups. So here’s what I did.

Mars Hydro TSW 2000 (18/6)
FFHF 40% FFOF 60% and extra perlite
Added some worm castings.
No nutes at this point
Only PH’d water (tap) sit 48 hrs

I took the advice of other members and trimmed them up. Did a lower defoliation. Got rid of the really damaged leaves. Lightly watered. And I let them heal and veg. Pics taken Jan 5th.

This little lady was having a hard time but I didn’t want to give up on her.

I took off a bunch of clones off the ladies. Did a small defoliation again. Did a small amount of LST on them. Here they are today. Going to do some more LST later on. They are doing great. Some leaves still have damage from the beginning but I didn’t want to strip her.

a fine recovery indeed,, well done friend,,

so,, the spider mites? how is that going?

is there a grow operation nearby that possibly could be contaminated by the introduction of spider mites to the area?

The spider mites are dead. I’ve got a one liter spray bottle that I filled with water added 2 tablespoons of Dawn and soaked the heck out of then. I didn’t even rinse the plants off. I left bubbles and all. It wasn’t bubble bath bubbly lol. Came back 3 days later and did the same thing. Left the Dawn on again. Did not rinse it off. I did a 3rd application even tho I didn’t see anything. After that I soaked them in plain water. They were doubled over from the weight of the water. Shook them off and no more spider mites. I called my buddy and told him to be careful that those clones were infested with spider mites. He replied Oh really I’ve been treating for spider mites. I shook my head and was like Dude you could have told me that in the beginning. And again Thank you guys for all the help. I truly appreciate it. And Thanx for the compliments. If it wasn’t for y’all’s advice I would have trashed them.

Right now their 40” from dirt to tip. I’m hoping I can control the height during stretch.
Hey @IKilledIt when I flowered out a bunch of mothers that tall I just tied over every branch flat and grew them out.
Lst you will be ok. :thumb:

Stay safe

I’ve got these ladies tied down like Gulliver. Thanx for all the help Bill. You have a Blessed day my friend.

Update:

Put these ladies on 12/12 January 12. Saw pistils the 19th. Did some lst on them. Cut out some sucker branches and that’s about it. I think I’m getting the main shouts even. You can only bend so much until it breaks. All in all it’s going great. Thanx for reading

Have some clones too that have been neglected for months with potential height issues during stretch.
Looks like you're on top of things. Love your tie downs.

Hey. Thanx for stopping by. They’ve been a chore to say the least. I think they’ll be worth it in the end.

When I was thinking of how to tie them down and fasten them. But I didn’t want to drill holes. So I got some rope twine and tied it around the pot. Then secured the tie downs to it. But the fibers on the rope made a mess. They were floating everywhere. Getting on my buds. So I grabbed green yarn lol.
