Hey there,
I would recommend the cooltube. You can literally touch the "cool tube" that the bulb fits inside of. It pulls air right over the bulb, and allows you to get that 1000w lamp closer to your plants. It removes heat like a charm. Which is indeed an issue with 1000w lamps!
