The Kindness of a Stranger Grow

Hey, eTom! Sorry, I haven't been around in a while. Got tied up, and then I got gagged. No chains though, so after a little rope burn, I got free and ran for my life away from there.

Anyway, Happy belated birythday! I'm only 10 days late, but yeah....sorry.... Better late than never?

Got any recent pics to show us?

Hey J. Hope the migraines take a break for you. Sucks about the Mites. That "mighty Wash I used kicked the crap out of them, not to be seen since. I am going to see the "stranger " hopefully today. I need to know the strain of gift 1,2 and 3. It has a great citrus hashy taste with so many trics they look fuzzy, on top of easy growers. Very Sativa upbeat high that gets a rid of a lot of pan and lets me get my studying done as well as house work. I think he may know the strain due to the oddity of one blade on different bud leaves corckscrews 360 degrees, on all three of these girls. Well fingers crossed I hate to loose track of one I like. :peace:

Will get some photos u[p asap no school for 2 weeks til next term starts. I LOVE VACATION!!!

New in the bull pen

7 Green #*^@% plants 4' to 10" tall:
"Originally titled Green Cush when it was released as a clone only, this mango smelling beauty is now world famous for its potency and yield! Mostly grown as a connoisseur cash cropper, this is an EASY grow. We recommend Lollipopping after a good veg period and blooming, from there you'll have a major center cola with a few side branches. Connoisseur smell and taste, tons of potency, THC - 24%."

6 coloumbian chem dog seeds,
"This is the earth's most potent variation of Columbian Gold in addition to the most reliable indoor edition. We've designed the mold and broken all of it simultaneously using this crossbreed. Also with Clockwork Orange I think of this Riot Seeds ultimate achievement to date. The F1 happened to be initially delivered to me by Motarebel and this is truly the f2 selection done to choose for the most potent variation of the Columbian Gold with the sweet fruit loops flavor and smell of Columbian Gold. Additionally the flowering time on this version of Columbian Gold is actually a sweet 14 weeks as opposed to the standard 26 weeks. Thus having the strength of Chemdawg D and the electrical sativa high of the genuine Columbian Gold this type of strain absolutely offers it ALL!"

6 OPP seeds:
Oceanside Purple Pakiis one of the best marijuana strains from Riot seeds. This marijuana strain is also calledthe Russian Blue by other people and growers. This marijuana strain could be cultivated indoors, outdoors, as well as in a greenhouse. On the other hand, "Oceanside Purple Paki is also a hybrid of both Indica and Sativa strains. It is found to be a mostly Indica strain. Oceanside Purple Paki has a flowering period of 63 days on average. Oceanside Purple Paki would not give you any feminizedseeds. This marijuana strain's mother is the Crimea Blue, which is also known as the Blue Babyshit.
Its mother is an amazing hashish plant that would certainly give you a killer resin production. In addition to this, it would give you a distinctive stinky smell. On the other hand, its father is the Sandstorm male, which is a cross of Purple Pakistani Kush and Moroccanmale."

And last but not least 5 sour diesel seeds.

All in all I would say it was a great day to go visit my friend (cant say stranger anymore). Only wish I could have thrown him more than 40 bucks as a donation towards his expenses. Got to help the people who selflessly seek to help others! Thanks brother, for everything you do for us.:peace:

Green #*^@% = Green Fluffy Bunnies

I site High Times for the rename:

But we do ourselves no favors by equating cannabis in any way with a toxic, dangerous substance like #*^@%. So we've come up with the alternative: Herewith, Green #*^@% shall be known as Green Fluffy Bunnies. Everyone must comply!

Happy Turkey Day everybody

That's the best news I heard today Jandre. From your journals it sounded great and I like the name better than the "green kush" I was going to call them. The 7 of them came to me in one pot some kind of close together and much root entanglement. I was as gentle as I could be with them stubborn girls(had started to flower and had been reveg'ed). As soon as they had their own homes I gave them a look over and saw the bastards. J2K you say mites and they come to me like magic. They got the dunk in Mighty Wash that worked so well last time, much easier with 7 small ones as opposed to the whole veg tent like last time. As for the Older ladies, Blue Dream 1 at 45 days is getting frosty finally, GDP Re-veg looks almost done but is only at 42 days, all others are 4+ weeks out. The "Gift" 1-4 are believed to be a Platinum Banana OG by my benefactor but the flower time seems a little faster than advertised for that strain, all I can say is it is a delight to smoke!!:tokin: harvested all cloudy it is energetic and uplifting.

Gah, Mang! Sorry about the mites.... Cooler temps drive them indoors. Like I always say, "It's not 'if', it's 'when'."

If you grow **any** plant indoors, you will get bugs at some point so just be prepared. It's best to be prepared for any eventuality: Aphids, whiteflies, fungus gnats, mites... They're all bugs that are an unwelcome addition to the grow space, whatever is grown.

With the field stone foundation I am in constant battle with fungus gnats. But all other beasties are under control for now. Got 14+ grams dry of the last Plat. Banana OG. This will be a strain I want to get again. Could have been an close ounce plant if not for couple early snips and smoking the tiny pop corn and smaller buds as soon as they were dry. Lazy Saturday with nothing to do but take a few tokes and finish off the brownies I made with the sour diesel butter and gram of oil that came with the Green Fluffy Bunnies.:peace:

Wow time flies. I got caught up with school and have not been posting much so to make amends a photo update of the next Green Fluffy Bunnies in what I hope to be her last week:

The Nirvana Freebies that came with the AK-48 only gave two out of 7 as girls, the first hit 5' before I had to super crop the 4 tallest stems, and has thin fox tail buds up the entire length of the stems, buds look the size of 2-3 week ones at 7 weeks so I think 14+ to finish. The second is a tall straight 3 footer with huge buds but not dense and no branching. The first AK was very nice and the second had 3 more weeks veg so the same but higher yield is 3 wks out and she is very frosty. Another GFB followed by 2 Sour Diesel, 3 GDPxCosmic Brain, and 2 Oceanside Purple Paki are in various stages of flower now. In veg one Sour D, 3 GDP crosses, 1 Columbian chem dog, 1 grape stomper, 3 Thunder F_ _ _ ing Grinch and 4 Cherry Pie Kush sprouted today.:peace:

welcome back from school :) and thank you for the pics. looks like behind the tent door(bud porn)

I bought a cheapo 25 site Clone machine for $64.95 w/ a 317 GPM pump. Well first run of 4 Sour diesel and 4 OPP was 8 for 8. Unfortunately the OPP mother was a father so they were trashed. The SD is showing hairs already so I took 4 more cuttings and will flip her tomorrow. I also took 3 clones off of a Columbia Chem Dog, will put her to flower a week or so and hope its a girl. She's the only one of 3 seeds made it and with a 14 wk flower I only want one in the tent at a time.

The Sativa freebie from nirvana is at 60 days and huge and looks like she is a 90-100 day flower girl. I moved her to a 2.5 gal. bucket, the buds are finally fattening up and there are a ton of them. Long stems with a bud every inch or less. It will take me hours to harvest her hope she's worth it. The bud hairs looks yellowish gold instead of white but she is very healthy and smells strongly of pine. My first East Coast Sour Diesel is @ 40 days and has fat, dense and super frosty buds already. Cant wait to smoke her. OPP, GDP crosses and last GFB are all good will update with pics of them when I can.:peace:

I'm working on a excel spread sheet to track the plants in flower so a I can view it from my smart phone and not have to print or copy flower time per plant off the PC. I got days in flower and days left in flower to count up and down respectively based on a flower period cell and a start date cell, but HerbIQ can do that on the PC. Now I just need to figure out how to calculate the nute mix per plant (not in HerbIQ) by days left in flower, pulling data from separate sheets depending on total flower period(ex. 70 day sheet for 10 week strains, 56 day sheet for 8 week strains and so on), but the formula in nute cell reads the formula of the "left in flower" cell instead of the numeric value and come back "#Value". Until I figure it out I have it color code the Left cell from red to green with dark red = early and dark green = ripe, that will have to do for now.:peace:

Success, My spreadsheet is working and can be viewed on my phone while at my plants watering. Separate tables for 9, 10, & 14 week strains are done so far, but I can bang out 8 and 12 wk ones later(when I have a need). In column one and two I enter the strain and plant number and column 3 I enter the flip date and that's it, from there it gives me the target date, days in flower, days left in flower and the level of nutrient mix each plant gets all in a nice color coded chart. :peace:

How did this grow turn out?
