The smell?

I have a girl in her 8th week of flowering.She looks good and all.But smells like wet hay?Why doesnt it smell nice,like it should.I grown using Hydroponics,GH ferts,MH/HPS lighting 20hrs veg,12hrs flower.Strain Afghan Kush.I started to flush her last Friday iam on day 4.Looking good but that smell.It just doesnt smell like weed.I mean shes covered in Trichones or however you say it.Shes realt sticky to the touch.This is my 1st grow.So i have no clue if this is norm or not.please any guidence would be nice from a grower and theres a bunch of ya on here.Thanks guys.And stay high and keep it fun.

Smell is genetics. Mine has no smell at all until chop.

She looks good and is sticky??? Fugetaboutit and enjoy.

Thanks 4 the info guys.So you think its ok then?I guess i will wait and see how it turns out after curring.Also is it bad to over flower?Like iam going into my 9th week of flower and it looks like its still flowering buds.I started flushing liked i said.But i noticed it is growing more buds.So if i keep it going i wount ruin it will i?
