Thread auto save?

Does anyone know how I can pull up autosaves from my threads? I just put a few hours into a long post just to have it say it timed out &delete all my text. Any clues so I don't have to rewrite &risk the whole thing deleting again? Thank you all much &hopefully someone knows what's what. I should probably just copy &save everything.

If you go to the same thread again, do not type anything, just choose the "Go Advanced" editing option.

In the reply box for advanced editing, you will see the option to "Restore Auto Saved Content", beside the "My Photos" tab at the bottom left.

Choosing this should restore your previous text
