To hang or Not to hang?

Hello,

i need some more help.

The day of harvest your forced with cutting your plant down...

does hanging the whole plant upside down drain THC to the buds or am i just better off cutting the whole plant up and letting them dry differently?

as far as THC draining down to the buds... isn't that were you want the THC?

Thanks for posting that link. The section on trichrome color was good reading. It talked a little about how the various strains show color differently and there isn't a hard and fast rule regarding the progression of trich color. You gotta get to know your strain...

I like to cut the entire plant and hang upside down in a dark room for 2 or 3 days. Then, remove the large fans, cut down to individual colas and hang those in a dark room for a few more days. Then, de-nug (is that a word?) the colas and alternate between jars and brown bags until it's dry enough for jars only.

Then the longer term curing can begin..
