Have you grown super silver haze or Himalayan gold or have you tasted either one

No I have not sir! I have tasted them but this is being grown for 3 different card holders so I would rather just go on a general populations preference, I'd think one has to be considered better than the other. My main two factors are yield and potency, and smell and taste of course matter too, just not quite as much.

Time for another update on the grow for you guys! We had lots and lots of growth in the bud room and even more growth in the tent! Pictures!!

Day 42:

Still in 18/6 lighting because we need to make sure our tent isn't going to let any light out into the bud room. So once our wall is complete they will be going into 36 hours of darkness and then into 12/12 lighting!

Also we are getting a 1000w High Pressure Sodium for the bud room to sit in the middle of the two 1000w Metal Halide and we are going to move the 600w HPS into the bud room as well and use a 500w (two 250 watt bulbs in one unit) MH for the veg tent.

We are also having a small spidermite problem but it's being slowed already so I think it should be fine.

Well since I don't have any bud shots yet I kinda have an itch to post some. Here is my first grow, was soil outdoor. Strain was Grape Ape I believe.

This was this years outdoor I did, some Dream Queen!

Day 46: (Grow #2 in tent and day 22)

Some close ups of the Strawberry Coughs, so many tops already. I've bee doing some fim cuts, defoliation and super crop bends to create smaller bushier plants for all of the plants. Not so much the mothers, they are kinda taking a back seat.

I like to start out with LST tie downs at about almost 1ft tall then once they about double the tops and they even out I start to do bends on any tops that get higher than the rest. This seems to work really well. We are also going to be doing a screen over the budding plants in the middle table and lollypopping below the screen.

Some sifted kief I made from my outdoor this year of some Afghan Kush. Smashed it into a ball.

Did some more fim cuts and a lot of bends and a couple tie downs. I love getting a lot of those knuckles you get from bending the branches. It seems to give those nugs a boost of nutrients!

Everything looks about the same, a bit of growth compared to yesterday but no pictures today. White Widow seeds have sprouted roots!

So the spider mites have thinned out a bit so far. We were thinking of getting lady bugs though, as i hear they help with this too.

What do you guys think of that? Have you heard that before?

Lady bugs will work but they are better suited to aphids. I believe there are other predatory mites that work better for spider mites.

I'll try for an update with pictures this morning. So busy right now:/

We have got the 600w and 1000w HPS in the bud room and the lights switched to 12/12. The veg tent is empty for a few more days and we have 18 plants going into bud right now! Which is nice, but since we got backed up this is not our plan and it will take a bit longer before we get everything set in motion correctly. But this will work for now, it's nearly as good!

A Strawberry Cough from the tent that I have been taking extra special care on and figuring out when and how is the best way to manipulate these during the start of their life. Look how wide this is, it's only one foot tall. So far I started with no tie downs or topping, I did early fim cuts on the top branch first and that let the other tops catch up, then I continued to fim cut every main top to get even more spread.

The tent right now. We need to clean it soon and get a new set of 9 plants in there within 3 days from today. But first we have to put up our new panda film wall in the middle of the room. This tent is in the same room as the bud room.

The dehumidifier we have in here. (we have another one that's really nice with tubes for intake and water out.)

I think it was too close to the reservoirs because the water dropped faster than normal and the ppm was way up, so I'm thinking the dehumidifier was pulling water right off the table somehow.

Thanks Northener! I will keep it up for sure, this is my passion haha. More pictures tonight, with 3600w (2000w MH, 1600w HPS) on these guys they are living the life! I can't wait till a week from now when the buds start bursting out! The white hairs have appeared everywhere already.
