Vick's - Organic Triple Strain'ed Sea Of Green - Wiw!

Hello everyone.:welcome:

After somewhat of a forced hiatus, I'm back with a little bit of a different grow then the last few.
I've gone full organic since then, using Coco/perlite as my medium.
Running a single 1000 watt dimable Quantum ballast with a LE Cooltube hood.
Ushio 1000 watt MH bulb for veg, until one week into flower, then switching out for 1000 watt eye horti HPS.
Light is on a Light Rail inteladrive 3.5 light mover.
The plan is to do a Sea of Green grow with a bit of a twist.
Minor defoiliation/LST/ & supercropping.

Growing until about 14-16 inches high, then flipping to 12/12

Nute buffet will be:
GH Bio Thrive Grow
GH Bio Thrive Bloom
GH Bio Root
GH Bio Weed
GH Bio Bud

GH Flora Blend (vegan plant booster as a tea)

Before clone transplant, Coco has been amended with:
-HF Flower power mix (fish meal, bone meal, green sand, canola seed meal, langbeinite, kelp meal, rock phosphate.
-Dolomite lime
-GH Sub Culture M (mycorrhizal root inoculant)
-GH Rare Earth

Using irrigation tray's to control runoff.
1.5 Gallon plastic rounds lined with lava rock for drainage.

Plants will stay in these pots til harvest..

Here's a few photos at lights on tonight.
Conditions couldn't be better in there right now!
Once CO2 gets hooked up this weekend, they're going to explode.

Feels good to finally have a grow going again..:yahoo:
Lets see if this one makes it to harvest without anymore speedbumps..

Drive bye Vick. Sorry I wasn't keeping up on the grows. Depressing ya know. I feel for ya on the losses. It don't take much to kick them spores in overdrive. I always wondered if sulfur wood help??? Hell I'd drag mine in for a fumigation if it worked. Maybe next year. I know I'll still be throwing some out there. You know a 'heathy' person wood do great with some light depravation around August 7th or so next year. Least then you know you got a better than average chance to harvest so slower strains.
Hey the new grow looks tight. You got in dialed in it seems. Love the tables going to be a snap to water. Going to get alittle crowded in there fast tho. I'm be around. Besides the weather outdoors I've been atad down myself with medical problems. It's cut way into my PC time, but I've started feeling better and I'll be on the ball real soon. Then I'll get out and bug everyone's grows. Hell I haven't even been keeping mine up Good luck with the grow and Keepem Green

Good to see ya my friend.
Don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat with the 420 neglect.
Sorry to hear about the health buddy, but here's to a speedy recovery!

Here in B.C. the end to our summer's are abrupt. The elevated moisture makes bud rot take most strains, that aren't built to fight it.
Pure Sativa strains seem to do well. For example, Here's a few photos of the Cotton Candy's that are still going strong. After the Ambrosia's and Diamond OG's rotted out.
They started super late and are supposed 14 weekers.
Super small buds, but hella sticky and tryched out.
If this strain was in the ground with plenty of room to spread out? It'd go nuts no doubt about it.
And they have no problem with cold weather.
Can definitely see now why it's an original B.C. developed strain.
I might just have to try and re-veg one of these to keep around til next summer.

Check out the fall colors on this little lady..

Ambrosia going purps, and on the verge of a moldy death..

SOG_Oct_5_OD_6.jpg

If I decide to grow on the back deck again, I'll have to get them out sooner, (like mid May)
And definitely build a surrounded greenhouse around them to keep moisture out.
That way I can also throw covers over them at night to help keep un wanted light out, and even induce early flowering if I wanted.
Wish I could get my hands on some AMS.
Seems like it would be the perfect B.C. outdoor strain.

Re: Vick's- Organic triple strain'ed Sea Of Green - wiw!

Ha Vic, very nice return mate. Great set up. Love the return steel. Great.

Just a note on the mold, botrytis. It's a nasty fix but if you hit the affected area with Brix + it helps stop the spread of spores. I spray any affected area then let the horrible stuff dry the bag the bud and cut it out. I lost 5k on my last run. A fan broke whilst I wan away. S#%t!

Anyway, that's enough rambling, looks great!
