Update 2/22/17

These girls are really thirsty! I have been tracking their weights daily to monitor their water usage and have been watering them approximately every 3 days.

On Tuesday plants were soaked in pH adjusted water and top watered with pH adjusted water with nonfat milk and AN B-52.

Plants this evening when I looked in on them...

Cleaned the tent and hung the lights this past weekend...the two bigger plants have about another week in the veg cabinet.

As they continue to veg my goal is to develop their roots before final transplant into 5 gallon geopots.

All 3 plants given 12 oz of pH adjusted water with Real Grower's Recharge (inoculant with molasses), enzymes, and AN B-52.

Mystery plant and Durban Poison moved into tent under LED lights...

8 Ball Kush in the veg cabinet a little longer after being topped 2 days ago...

Update 3/4/17

Both the Durban Poison and the Mystery "girl" were transplanted this morning into 5 gallon geopots with bloom soil mixed back in January. Soil was watered with a BuBrew Biodynamic compost tea 2 days before transplant. Soil was nice and moist . for them, and they were starting to look "hungry " to me.

8 Ball Kush is still in her 1 gallon Smart Pot , but was topped last week...she was moved out of the veg cabinet and into the tent with the "big" girls...

Looking forward to them digging into this soil....will hit them with a nice Recharge /enzyme (SLF-100) tea at their next watering....would like them to veg for another 14-21 days or so....

8 ball Kush has handsome leaves.

Looks like my Hawaiian Skunk although genetics don't have much in common.
It might be the Afghanistan indica dominating. Or it might be that all these breeders make up stories about their genetics

Checked on my girls a little bit ago and found my 8 Ball Kush with these spots on her leaves...

Picture diagnosis isn't always accurate/reliable but looks like some Ca needed...especially with the flat back but turned down edges & tip.

Checked on my girls a little bit ago and found my 8 Ball Kush with these spots on her leaves...

Any ideas on what might have caused them? Thanks in advance!

2 questions:

What type of foliar have you done? (You did epsom salt foliar on a previous run, right? Sounds wild to me )

How do they look on the bottom of the leaves? (Look for leaf mining trails or insect bite marks.)

I checked the bottoms of leaves, and didn't see any evidence of bugs...

I haven't even started foliars yet...just soaking and watering...

8 Ball Kush after milk and cayenne pepper a couple of days ago...

Due to space, I will probably transplant this plant into a 3 gallon pot instead of 5 gallons like the other two plants.

Both plants in 5 gallon geopots soaked in 2 gallons of pH adjusted water and top watered with Recharge and SLF-100...both plants seem to be bouncing back ...

Mystery...

Durban Poison...

So far, so good...

Ok, so it has been almost a week since I last updated....

The two big girls are being prepared to flip to 12/12....they were both top dressed with Roots Elemental to provide a CalMag boost going into flower last night. I will look to have them flipped within the next 5-7 days they are getting huge!

Up until now, these 2 plants have been watered using Recharge and SLF-100 every 7-10 days and plain water. They have gotten vitamin supplements, nonfat milk, and cayenne as well but no "nutes".

Plants have not shown any signs of deficiency, so I didn't even give them the alfalfa teas, etc that I did last run...

The plant on the left is Durban Poison (bornday 1/18) and the plant on the left is Mystery (bornday 2/1) which I think might be a male . .

The 8 Ball Kush doesn't seem to be responding well to the LED lights so I put her back under CFL in veg cab...

I also gave her a Root Tonic yesterday to stimulate growth (liquid kelp,humic acid, and yucca).....we'll see what she does.

I will move her back into tent after she gets a little bigger.....

Looking very good overall. The flat leaf backs w/ turned down tips & edges is plant asking for more Ca. Best is a Ca phosphate or carbonate...I'd avoid any nitrate form. You & I use several of the same products....maybe you have some Kelzyme Element XX? Very soluble & 35% Ca.
