Night's Perpetual Grow - LOS First Timer Mainstage - Hydro Side Stage

Hello everyone!

After some consideration and persuasion (looking at you SweetSue) I have decided to start another journal. This will be my on going journal as i have a lot of plans for plants this time around, with a twist. LOS!!. I have been reading and watching Sweetsue's journal, i don't think i have to say much about how much information is on her threads, not to mention the kindness. What has intrigued me so much about LOS is the lack of deficiencies, the health of plants, the trichome production and what means most to me care-free growing ( if you prepare your soil right) with my current problems of anxiety it helps me a great deal not to be stressing about sick or 'sad' looking plants.

Now onto the strains which are currently being grown and which mediums they are in;

HYDRO
- Northern Lights Blue Auto (Delicious Seeds)
- Cookies Kush (Barney's Farm)
- Kalashnikova (Green House Seeds)
- 6 clones of Fruity Chronic Juice (Delicious Seeds)

LOS
- Fools Gold (710 Genetics)
- Fast and Vast Auto (Heavyweight Seeds)
- Delahaze (Paradise Seeds)
- 707 Truthband (Humboldt seeds by Emerald Mountain)
- Pineapple Express (G13 Labs)

The Setup
2 tents ( 1.4mx0.6mx0.6m, 1.6mx0.8mx0.8m)
5 Lights ( 2 300w Mars LED, 1 250w HPS, 2 cheap LED lights wattage unknown)
4 fans ( 1 oscillating fan, 2 small desk fans, 1 6" Grow lush extraction fan)
2 small water pumps

Now the exciting part....PHOTOS!!!

These are the 6 FCJ clones, I thought i would try something different and see how 6 small plants would do in the same container, they seem to be doing not too bad apart from the necrofying leaves but hey its too be expected when 6 plants are fighting for nutrients

Here is our small but chunky looking Kalashnikova, only 3 weeks into flower and she's already frosting up a storm!

This Cookies kush had a rough start to life We were trying out this cheap coco from a local hardware store. It killed one and almost got this one too before we thankfully saved her. We have taken off a few balls and bananas but if you had the same rough start to life you wouldn't turn out the best either i dare say haha. All in all she looks good.

Our biggest plant to date, Northern Lights Blue Auto. We had a little hiccup on the way but she is coming back strong

For the LOS plants i have a few photos of the transfer from perlite into our new soil Unfortunately i forgot to take the photo of the F&V Auto but hey there will be plenty more! Also i have included a photo of our LOS soil. Enjoy! I know you will SweetSue

UPDATE

This will just be a small update tonight.

These little clones are so small but really frosty, if they don't manage to swell up that much we may make some hash from them, it'll still be tasty and potent. We'll see how we go though shall we before i jump the gun.

The girls seem to be enjoying their new home

And look what i found tonight! The fast and vast already has her girl parts showing, the fast part is so far looking to be true, now to see how the vast part turns out

And thatttt's it folks! I'll be doing mostly small updates daily or every second day but don't hold me to that sometimes life can take me away from the computer for a bit.

Good evening to all!

Too keep things interesting I have decided to drop more seeds, when I said more plants I meant A LOT MORE muwahahahahaha!
Here is the list, hopefully the start of my breeding project, that is something I want to get into 100%!
4x Afghani (freebie from herbies)
1x Twilight (Dutch Passion Seeds)
Below are all unknown strain seeds I've either gotten from cannabis or a friend.
2x Unknown strain from Western Australia
2x Unknown strain from a friend
15x Unknown strain from another friend

I plan to drop more seeds in about 1/2 a month to a full month. Get ready guys, in the next few months a lot of things will be happening in my side of the grow world



RANDOM THOUGHT
Today I've spent mostly reading up on journals and seeing what else I can learn/share. Lem's shear amount of plants just slapped me in the face to get into gear this time around. I'm also thinking of getting into the way cannabis should be grown, like in nature with males and females, not to seek the sinsemilla all the time and be happy to have 100's of seeds that can be male, hermie or female. Just some random thoughts as to where I'm heading with my grow direction.

Ahhhhh lol let's just say its not legal shall we? Thank you for the concern CC but i haven't had any trouble from the authorities yet, I'm not trying to put up flag like "LOOK I'M GROWING" so far its been cruisy growing what we have in the past year so i thought why not try and see how many I can do this year without being caught. Recently near my hometown someone was growing 70KG. I don't think i'll be getting to that amount lol. In Aus they go for the big fish, not us small minnows. Again though thank you for pointing it out!


Edit: All of the seeds I dropped in water last night has sunk, excluding 2 of the 15x unknown strain (I called it crazy nicks) See you around the 420 community!

Hiya all!

I was going to do a big update tonight but I'm pretty tired so I'll save it for tomorrow, I will however do a mini-update

HARVEST

Me and my partner have decided to harvest our small 6 FCJ clones, It was a cool experiment but they weren't showing signs of packing on much more size/weight. We have sampled 2 clones just to see how it is (personally I don't mind fresh flowers when smoked). I must say for such small things they pack a whollop! 2 cones and it hits 10-20mins later. quite nice tasting as well for a fresh smoke Here are some photos for your enjoyment.

SEED UPDATE

The seeds I previously mentioned have been transferred from the jars in water to damp paper tissues in plastic zip lock bags, photos to follow.

This first bag has the Crazy nick and Twilight strain, the others I marked so it's self explanatory

See you all tomorrow for a decently large update IMO, including the Cookies Kush, Kalashnikova, Northern Light Blue Auto and the LOS babies, maybe even a show of the new seeds going into soil. Bon Voyage!

UPDATE

First in show is our kalashnikova, she looks great for her small stature Sweetsue this one is for you to compare and admire what is to come with your kalashnikova auto.

Next in show is our Cookies Kush, we decided to move her away from the kalashnikova because she has had about 10+(I think) male sacs/bananas that my partner has removed (I tend to shake too much with little finicky things like that). The photos to follow will show you all the drawer I turned into a small grow area, she just has the strongest of the 2 chinese LED the other weaker one is still with the kalashnikova to give her more light to her lower colas. Enjoy!

Here is our NLB Auto, now at day 80 (the description on seed finder says the only known phenotype of this plant is a slowly blossoming type). I took her out and gave her a very minor defol to get rid of some of the larger/damaged leaves. Here she is!

LOS UPDATE

All the LOS babies are looking mighty fine IMHO, I can't help but laugh at the fact the F&V auto has already shown her sex, with only 3 or 4 nodes tightly grown, I'm hoping we don't just get a tiny little nug so I'm hopeful that she will stretch and show more vigor with time. All of these seedlings are just over a month old, I seem to have the problem of slow growth to begin with but they always explode later so I'm not too stressed about my methods but if someone can point why I get such slow growth in the first month to 2 months I'm all for learning to be a better gardener!
