Outdoor Bug - Friend Or Foe?

I keep knocking these little bastards off my outdoor plants. They are smart as shit. They hang out on the stalks or branches and don't appear to damage anything. They can see you and are smart enough to evade you by hiding on the side of the stalk that you're not standing on.

What are they and should I be worried?

I recently witnessed them excrete little drops of something from their rear that lands on the soil below
 
It is some form of what is known as a "true bug". Looks to be thinner than a stink bug but it's some sort of bug for sure.

Thanks ShiggityFlip is it dangerous to my plants ?
 
True bugs vary with some being predatory on other insects. Some also suck plant juices. I am not sure what kind you have but I would keep them away if possible.

Thanks again, I harvested recently with no real harm done. I will be looking for them next time!
