I was hoping id never had this but it is mid july. getting another ac unit would be great but sealing the hot airflow through the vent is not what I was wanting to do . any ideas
I'm not sure I follow. But you need to exchange the air. Hot air rises, so exhaust from up high. Cool air in from low, and spread by fans right onto the canopy.
With out know/seeing the space and house, I can't really give you specifics beyond that. Do what ever needs to be done to exchange the air.

You could try to split the ac between the 2 rooms and tie the 2 upper vents together into a larger exhaust fan.
Might be easier than 2 ac units! I could only imagine what the utility bill would be for a month!

can I do that with the 8 inch fan duct an ad say like a 4 inch with out the 8 inch pushing the hot air back into the machine.

I'm sure you could McGyver something together that would work, just use the CFM of each fan to figure the total at the Y connection and make sure your output fan after the Y is double that CFM number I would think. You really should vent the hot outside if possible, or you will never get it cool, second choice is to vent out door or window with helper fan, YMMV but hey its a start! HTH and Cheers!

so I went with a different option. I decided to keep the ac in the original veg and just switch the lights. and whala.
I like it beter. I can raise the lights if needed. I'm gonna put the CFL tek in the tent. much beter place for it they run colder too so its a win win. the lights will hopefully get the plants biger. biger is beter. big big big. and these would go underneath it.
the one in the upper right had a drout and bounced back but it is not performing to well. ehh.. its the Dotor strain by Greenhouse seeds.
I was excited for it too. any who heres an up date and the goods.

I haven't done a flush yet because I'm going to take the 40 gal and put it in the tent and the 70 gal in the veg well soon to be flower.

the cloner is here. I'm actually impressed with the build of it. it has a nice spray and the clones didn't droop an die like with some. ok so I got the 70G res in . the 70G is much beter then the 40G as the 40G doesnt cover because of the gutter system I put in. so the 70G has been good to me so far. nothin against the 40G just the 70G kicks ass an we needed an ass kicken. Alright so I added kelp. I'm positive the micorhizea are gonna find it and love it Ohhhh yea. also as you can see on the feeding table there is duo I use the flora searies so but added all the other goods. they also got a hair cut.

and the nutrients are both changed out I have a vent coming for the veg to remove the hot air out of the room.. ill have some photos come Monday or Tuesday ahhh great success.

thanks brodda I have a vent coming in within early august that's going to imrove ventilation, I only needed to buy one and I did so now once that's hooked up Ill do 12 12 ...u know that OG is A FUCKING STRECHER lol but ill be ok with it. no salt buildups which is a good thing. I'm beginning to like the express u know the one I don't like. but its a HI and Lo ball game its gonna be boosted by all the nutrients ive added.
