2000w Soil Indoor, First Timer

Hey im new to 420 mag and growing. been lurking around forums learning a lot.

currently going threw my first grow. been changing things throughout the grow so bear with the scenery changes.

Im currently running in my basement, but have a actual bedroom being setup for some real growing.

5 Gal pots
Roots Organic Soil, No amendments.
No A/C
I have a 1000w 600w and a 400w hps. the six hundred is a friends but im gonna be running 3 1ks in my new room (irrelevant but oh well)
ive been using General Hydroponics One part flora nova grow and bloom with some kool bloom, AN Bud Candy and a little Cal Mag.

this setup was very very cheap to get into. just trying to get my feet wet.

have ran into a little of a spidermite problem but who doesnt when starting out.

i got the 6 clones on 6-16-10 i wanna say and had them under 12/12 by between 6-26-10 and 7-1-10

running three strains: started with
Blue Dream 3
Soul Train 2
Afgan Goo 1

Have pulled some clones off of these six and got about 9 to root and gave them all a few weeks to veg then i threw em into my bud room. some were only a couple inches tall but i need to get out of this dungeon. lol anyways heres with the pics

from a week or two after transplant up till a few days ago, might get another update in tonight.

old pics are on the bottom, ones on the top are from two days ago when i did some more moving around. lol

Beautiful ladies bro.. I hope the spider mite problem is OK cuz those little bastards will take over really quick if u don't take care of them. Anyways blue dream always comes out super chronic, its one of my favorite strains to grow too cuz the THC content is so high and the smoke is delicious.. Plants look a little lanky but nice healthy buds none the less.. Hope everything goes well and keep up the good work dude

and yeah unfortunately they have a lot of stretch going on. i was gonna do a perpetual grow so i had the lights up high and the smaller ones really reached out.

that soul train (trainwreck sour diesel so im told) when its topped just grew straight out and it really flimsy. they were all pretty flimsy all of em are tied up except the ones i cloned.

i just got some saucers to start feeding them from the bottom, i heard this is what a lot of indoor soil guys do.

next run im running 3 1000s in magnums with twenty four plants in 10 gal nursery pots. gonna try to run a screen and get some canopy control. one of my biggest problems right now.

they should come back and look good as ever. I am worried about the same happening to my ladies. I will be gone from Wednesday through Sunday.

there already perkin back up with some light and fresh aqua.

cut a small branch off the blue dream last week before i left. just smoked some of it. not tooo badddd. lil premature obviously but it was pretty good, got me stoned.

You have a remarkable grow here. I'm curious about the distance from your lights to the plant tops...in one picture it looks like the 1k watt, 600 watt, and 400 watt are equidistant from the plants. My 400 watt lights are less than a foot from my plants.

yeah they were really high up at one point, i actually nipped the 400, only got the 600 and 1000 in there with the big hoods. i have no glass in them either.

they are lower now, ill got snap a picture real quick. i kinda need them up to get the coverage, got fifteen 5 gal pots in there.

plus some of the bud tips were getting a little dry to the touch... idk if that was okay so i moved them up for that reason also.

but all the lighting height changes made them really stretch, hopefully i can eliminate that next round, kinda wanna run a screen or a SOG.

got some goodies today, magnum hood and a eco fan. dropped my temps from around 83 to 75. peaked at 88 before, peaks at 80 now.

and got em muchhhhhh lower lol, i like. you can hold your hand on the glass.

1000 in the big hood, 600 in the small hood. the small hood gets warmer.

sorry bout that, got into my regular swing of things, stoner moment... i got a new grinder and had to roll myself a blunt after todays victory.

Heres another update, started building a 6x7 clone/mom/veg room. well at least moms and clones and veggers if theres room.
