Alien Seedlings are 23 days old.
24 hrs in Deweyponics appears promising.
Finally have the grow room back in order.

i messaged photon fantom designs be they wont message me for some reason .. trying to find out about the ppfd rating and just more info on my lights just furc is a great teacher.. that is why i asked . cant seem to find info my driver hits 76.8 watts 2100 mah i believe

They list the specs on their website in a Tricky Dicky math notation way. Wonder who they're trying to impress. The Sunboard 240 is spec'd as 4.8293E2 ppfd which is 482.93 ppfd, although they don't indicate the distance from the light that number was obtained.

Anything around 1000 is great. Below that and the % of growth diminishes greatly

500ppfd is sufficient, 900ppfd is optimal and anything over 1000ppfd you’ll have to run CO2 for your plants to use that much light.

Pennywise is right. But try to find out what distance from the light they tested at.

Three years later.?....
How has everyone been doing? Me? Dealing with the good and bad, mostly good!

Haven't stopped growing yet nor will I ever.

Really been wanting to get back here and visit other growers and exciting threads of pure cannabliss.
I harbor no ill feelings towards anyone browsing through nor, 420 magazine and there staff and monitors. I have greatly enjoyed my time on this thread and the friends whom participated.
I have learned a lot from the information throughout 420 site, people's posts and there trials and errors. Visiting silently from time to time.

With that....after this grow....
I continued with a 6 bean pop of GSC bought from "s..dma." genetics from BC B.. Dep..(not a sponsor).
I purchased these to compare them to the "Cali Con" GSC that I just grew.

I am looking for a more SCROG friendly version. As you can see from my journal that all the cookies are tall lanky girls.

2 males and 4 females later.....the breeding began. Pollen and seeds collected.

Next run was high CBD strains.

With this was selfing an OG Kush and breeding.

Current grow is the GSC seeds produced from the deconstructed inbreeding of same batch seeds.
50 seeds, grown in 1qt pots. Ended up with 6 that I liked (4 different pheno types).
And again the stress test began.

And, here is where we are.....

Oh yeah, the "Martian Cookies" .....I decided to pop a couple immature looking seeds for chits and giggles!

2 keepers cloned for cloning and seeds.

And a few random photos.

I will probably close out this thread and start a new one......if I can convince the following sponsor to let me play with their seeds!!! With their rules of course.

Okay then I guess I have a change of heart and, think I will keep this journal and showcase what I'm doing here.
The reason is looks like I'm going to be involved in a growing competition. Sponsored by @420 and @Weed Seeds Express featuring their signature GSC Strain.
This will give me a couple of weeks to brush up on my journalism. Before I start a new journal.

Cleaning up the house (grow areas) in order to facilitate changes from breeding plan to comparison grow.
And with my luck exhaust fan to my flower room quit working on me yesterday just in the middle of thunderstorms and excessive heat. Spent most of the day reworking airflow until a new inline fan arrives next week.

Did a little trimming on the veg clones also.

Found these on the GSC that took a beating during the stress phase.
Yes, the one with all the dried up leaves.

NANNER'S.... She's gone into self preservation mode.
She's been moved to the waiting area and will chop tomorrow.

Found a four leaf clover on her also!

Flower room today.

Martian Cookies will be at 9 weeks Monday-ish.

Chopped the GSC this morning. Mostly frosted glass tricom's very few amber...no clear glass observed.

Not bad for distressed cookie

And we have developing balls already.

Clones for breeding were on a 20 / 4 light schedule. I changed to an 18 / 6 a week ago.....

Hey @Derbybud, doing real good here.
Had to put all my efforts for the past 3 years into a major project. Have been traveling overseas and multitude of states to include Canada. NOW my son and partners will continue forward from here on out. I AM OFFICIALLY RETIRED! (To take care of the homestead and health)

Truthfully have been missing being part of this community!

Saw your post in the Comparative GSC Grow thread....hope everything is going ok with you and the family.
As for a good weekend.... that would be a BBQ and relaxation around the pool.... 45deg nights and windy 60ish degrees days and a bunch of springtime maintenance plus projects...I'll just keep busy with a medicated smile. Lol

Congrats on your retirement. I'm a bit jelly but I've been home most the time since I got terminated fron my job back in October. New CEO came in and got rid of all of management to bring his team in. They called me 2 week's ago to come in and talk to them as I know they don't have work but their dead to me.
Family is doing good. Lopin's has her medical issues and my wife does well with her ra. Myself, I just feel like an old man. I quit taking my daily oils since I got let go thinking one of these days I'll have to look for employment but haven't pushed it. Been really busy on the farm this winter with having 4 horses again. Plenty of poop to move.
Well got to get back outside and at it. Got a ton of bedding to get off the truck and into the barn. Take care and enjoy that retirement brother. Well deserved I'm sure.
