Crop Kings Green Crack 70% indica 30% sativa
5 x5 Room Inside of another insulated outbuilding.
Soil is Black Gold natural and organic portting mix.
1000 watt hps with 6" exhaust and carbon filter, air cooled hood.
Room is being controlled at 26C and 70% humidity for germination.
As per usual, any tips and/or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys ! So, one seedling has sprung up a whole half inch above soil. The others have not broken soil yet. My question is, should I be hitting them with light now that one has popped through the soil?

I went right to soil...no paper towel trick to start so technically, they are planted. I will start light tonight. I will have to set them out of direct light as I only have 1000w and it is not adjustable.

Was wondering what the general consensus is regarding nutrients and when to start adding. Right away? Second set of leaves?

I wait until the first set of true leafs. At the same time watch the cotyledon Leafs for fading witch is a sign that they need feeding.

By fading you mean the greens aren't quite so bright green or a different color altogether?

They have enough nutes to sustain the plant for a few weeks. Then they start yellowing as they run out of food for the plant.

Any ideas whats happening with my seedlings guys? I am attaching 4 pics. 2 are of seedlings with green leaves. The other 2 are a different story. 1 is long and brownish while the other is just a stem. Wtf?

What about the first pic that is only a stem? Thats not normal is it?

That's what I thought but couldn't tell from the pic. I would say no that's not normal I have never seen that. If it was me I would get a backup seed started.

I'm out unfortunately...any chance the one that hasn't popped through soil still might make it? I did 5 originally and you've seen the 4 that came up. There's still one sleeping !

I still have a gelato I could plant if need be. Just not sure of the difference in size if any. I'll give it one more day maybe.
