If you have a pot on your head you might have smoked a wee bit too much pot!

Since its around day 21 for the Bubblicious i went ahead and did some defoliation on Bubbs 1. The other Bubbs will be left el natural.

Left - no defol. Right- yes defol.

Nice animals in the jungle, haha!! Hey I read in one of your post where you said you might defoliate one plant at day 20. I'm sure you have already read around on this site about defoliating but if not, take some time to check it all out. Theres tons of info on here about defoliating. I've never defoliated though at 20 days into flower. I usually did mine in veg and then maybe just a week or so into to flower. I've grown in both ways, with defoliation and without. I really couldn't tell much of a difference with either method. But if I had to pick one method or the other id have to probably say the better method was not to defoliate.

I found that by just tucking in the larger fan leafs was better on my grow then cutting them off. I also did the paperclip method and it worked pretty good as well. The only thing about the paperclip method is that the fan leafs do die off faster than by not messing with them in the first place. What I've mentioned is only based off my grows and I'm sure you have your own thoughts and methods on what you have done and are doing. I also noticed on page 23, I think it was where you had a good picture of the AG. From what I could see in the picture it looked like there was a LOT of stretch going on now. There was a very noticeable gap in the upper area of the plant. Is that a normal thing for that strain to grow like that or is it doing that because of the distance of your lights? Like I had said before, I'm probably going to grow AG on my next grow. Your AG looks good but I just wanted to ask you about that. I also read where you talked about back building. What exactly is that all about, I've never heard of that before. I saw where you gave the persons name where you had read about doing that. But I thought id ask you a little bit about it just in case I cant locate the info you had found on it. Have a great weekend, take care.

Too funny you were posting at the same time I was! The defoliated plant does look good in the pic for sure. Its good that you are doing one with it and one without it. I'll be interested to see if you can tell a difference with the final yield of either method. Have a good one, take care.

Hey, disregard about going into detail about the back building info. I was able to find the thread on the topic after all. But let me know if you have anything to add to the method or anything that came up when you did it. Thanks!

Morning JimmyV. Thanks for the info on your experience with the defol. I have read lots about it also and have decided to just see for myself. Im not familiar with the paperclip thing and will check it out. i might try some tucking on the undefoled Bubbs.
Yea the gold did stretch pretty good. She popped out of the dirt only 3 or 4 days befor the LH or TW but grew much faster. I think the gap is pretty normal since its a sativa but im not 100% on that. She was 12/12 from seed and right now stands about 25" tall. I am very happy with the Gold for the size. I wish i had the room to let her get big like she wants.
The backbuilding was from Light Addict. He has lots of cool techniques and tutorials on growing. Thanks for checkin in Jimmy. Let me know if you have any more questions on the gold.

 looking sweet brother it will be a good comparison my bettings on the that naked girl, she must be cold :)
Warning Adult Content........LIVE naked plants!! I was just going to post a video about live naked plants and then just have ten seconds of plants blowing in the wind. But it was too complicated for me! Haha.

I'm sure this will be deleted shortly

I must agree. That Goldmine is fast! The Huckleberry twins are kind of cute too.

I wonder what sleeping a straight 8 hours would feel like? I never sleep more than three hours at a time....1 AM get up, wander around the house, smoke a bowl...go back to sleep and repeat at 4 AM

Sometimes I felt like I was the only person who lives like this. I can't go longer than four hours. That started when Dale got to the end stage, but it seems to have established a strong pattern. I'm beginning to adapt to it. I come here. :laughtwo:
