Curious' 3rd Grow Journal 2 x Pineapple Kush In Coco, April 2019

Hey bro, i'm not sure what's happening with those autos :hmmmm::nomo: To my knowledge auto's can not reveg. I could be wrong though

Thanks mate, from what I read aswell they have a "death time" have read a few stories of people chopping and then re-vegging not sure how true they are. I'm definetly Inretested to find out how it goes, think I'll keep them around for a little bit longer. I find it really hard recycling any of them, lol. Was going to do it with one on my other journal and she has ended up kicking the others butts. Operator had a few contributing errors which didn't help.

Having a three week vacation and a month of away work will unfortunately leave this journal short and patchy. I will do my best to fill in as much as I can with the information I was provided by a just as inexperienced friend of mine who checked in on the garden for me. 24th of May was my last post on this journal, so PK 2 was scrapped as it was apparent nothing was happening there. B1 turned out to be a male and was culled straight away. So the 2 x 4 now consisted of a lil mutant Pineapple Kush PK1 (as I was really keen to try it) a Bagseed B2 and with a little spare space I added a strawberry cough clone.

The day before going away on vacation 26th of June the Pineapple Kush (auto) had already started flowering, about one week Into. Not knowing how much stretch would take place I flipped the SC and the BS as I couldn't afford for them to vege another four weeks.

With the BS tipping itself all the was required was some LST to make four main colas.

SC on the right was taken from a mother in flower, was re-vegged as it was taking root. After re-begging a flowered clone the cop e has lot more branches in comparison to a normal clone just some LST provided the SC with 9-11 colas.

17/07 Exactly 4 weeks and 1 day since these ladies had been flipped. With no contact with my friend in regards to their progress, I arrived back to find out that the first two weeks of flower, the timer I had bought right before leaving was faulty and actually reset itself two days after leaving. Meaning for two weeks no ladies received any water. With a couple hand waters during the next two weeks ladies were as. A little sad but ok...

28/07 5 weeks of flowering.
Required a bit of work to do to get these ladies up to scratch. Nutrient schedule had been bumped up to 50% feed schedule from 30%. Not having any nutrients/water I expected that they would have focussed more on surviving rather then stretching, as there wasn't alot. A few fungus gnats around but a soak with some neem oil and yellow sticky traps did the trick.

11/08 2 weeks later, week 7 of flower.
Flower development is going really nicely, I can't believe the trichome development on this 24cm high stunner. Not sure if the yellowing is due to flowering or I sufficient nutrients?
PK (maybe a little high nutes tip burn)

Nutrients are still at 50% with no weekly flushes.

29/08 fast forward a couple more weeks and we are over week 9 of flower.
PK Showing some really nice colours. For the last 6 days she was flushed with straight ph5.8 water. Now ready and ripe for the picking with nive opaque trichomes.

I was pretty stoked with this little pineapple Kush as this was the first girl I was able to let mature all the way to picking as I have had either bug/mold issues on my previous grows. Finishing up in just under 10 weeks of flowering.

29/08 Just over week 9 of flower.
I was still running 50% nutrients with no weekly flushes for salt build up at this level with a PPM of 600. I did start to have a ph problem as the ph pen I was using was way out by a whole figure so what I though was 5.8 was actually 6.8. This fixed by purchasing calibrating solution ph7 buffer.

The Bagseed is showing a more denser and stacked flower in comparison to the Strawberry Cough, which is more spaced apart. However there is much more trichome development on the strawberry cough. One of the colas of the bagseed doesnt even seem to have any trichomes.

18/09 just before week 12 of flower.
Trichomes are looking nice and opaque on the strawberry cough, still some clear but majority are opaque maybe a couple of amber.

I will be needing these girls out as the other girls are ready and my clones are running out of space. Nutrients will be stopped and straight ph5.8 water will start with these girls on a flush for 3-5 days.

26/09 Into start of week 13 (12-14 week strain)
Harvest day!
I trim all the fan leaves and and any other leaves that don't have trichomes. Then I wash all my flowers through Doc Buds recipe.

1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup of lemon juice from coles for added sulphites.
2nd - 20-5 litres in a wrapping box
24-26 degrees Celsius
Plain water.
3rd - 20-5 litres
Plain water
24 -22 degrees Celsius.
Then hang to dry fro 24 hrs, or until dry.

Really enjoyed this grow as I finally got the strawberry cough to a finishing point without any issues (bugs/mold). I did have some ph problems but still all in all I learned alot and am pretty happy with the end result.
