First Grow - CFL - Walk-In Closet - Bag Seeds

These two plants in the milk containers are still growing about an inch per day! 1.5 weeks into flower each.

I've never grown before… but as these buds swell I'm starting to think… This is very easy and I'm probably about to have a decent harvest lol. It's awesome. My current set up costs me about $0.20 per day. Hoping to yield about 4 oz. every 2 months.

2-3 weeks away from harvest. One more watering with nutrients tomorrow, then in a few days I will do my first of two flushes.

Did my first flush today. It's funny juggling around my plants, trying to predict the best use of the lights and the best time to move plants from veg to flower. I think after harvesting my main plant I'm going to move all of my plants into flower and shut down the veg box for a while. I want to eventually grow just one large plant with 8 colas, which my ak-48 has almost become (she has 4 colas, one more topping to make 8). Only I want to veg her in a larger pot for another few weeks before the flip, but all my main lights are on 12/12 right now. So I have to flip her to flower when she's still small. Dunno what to do exactly… any suggestions? This is probably confusing lol.

I stacked two boxes on top of each other to create one large tall space to grow in. I also added two 23w CFLs. Took my baby ak from her sideways water bottle container and into this much larger pot. Tied her down with flexible wire onto hooks I screwed into the plastic pot.

And here you can see these tiny plants, which are almost 6 weeks old, they are each producing 8 tops right now. When I transplant them and flower them, I expect a bushy plant with 8 equal sized large colas. Same for the a-k 48.

I decided to harvest one of my main four branches today. It looked like it was ready, the rest will come tomorrow or the next day. I'm guessing that I'll get around an ounce or more, although I don't own a scale so I'll never really know! Check out the trichomes.

The end product is so much better than any sativa I've found at local dispensaries. Growing your own is truly the way to go. The rest is still drying, I bet I have close to 1.5 oz. or more

First grow was a super success.
Will be sticking with CFL's. All of my lights barely raised our electricity at all, almost un noticeable. Also the bud is incredible!

Very good results with CFLs man! But I think you can go LEDs as they are more energy efficient. I have 300W (100x3W) LEDs and the power draw of those is around 180W. Before that I used 250W HPS but the power draw was 300W and it was really hot in my room. But its all up to you. Happy growing!
