Subscribed, as for defoliation, if you have plants next to each other, the leaves sometimes overlap, and powdery mildew can develop, if you don't have air circulation. When you defoliate, it will usually stunt growth for a day or two, so you have to let them recover. Everything looks good so far though, very nice for 1st time sir.

Its about a month into flowering and since idk wht strain or anything how long do you think till harvest , and how do you think im doing, I had a bit of problems with money and temp ect but im hanging in ther

I would check on the trichomes from day 50 and on, and plan to give your plants a 1 week flush before harvest. with no known flowering times I would plan to harvest from day 70- day 90. you need a 30x jewelers loupe to see the trichomes and judge when to harvest. most people harvest from 5%-30% amber trichomes. harvest at 5%-15% amber trichomes for a "head high" energetic effect and harvest at 30%-50% amber trichomes for a "body stone" sedative effect strain dependent.

I bought the x30 loupe and Ive looked at weed I buy and my plants buds and I cant seem to noticed the amberish tint in the trichomes

anyway heres sum pics of two buds threw the loupe

ive been watching the one plant and its fan leaves hav been yellow for awhile and the trichomes are getting cloudy but no sign of any amber yet, how long to u think until I can harvest it and get a nice high?

If you are not seeing any amber trichomes yet I believe your plants might be 90+ flowering day strains. Plants grown with Compact Florescent Lights often take several weeks longer to mature.

Sorry its been awhile, Ive got gud news! I harvested and got 5 full jars of buds , im in the process of curing but ill have pics up soon. I prob could of gotten a better yield but it was my first time n its all about learning from ur mistakes. Anyways thanks a lot to everyone who helped me out especially Kingjohnc
