From seed, we're at 27 days. This plant was not like this 24 hrs ago when last fed (unless I was stoned out of my gourd and didn't see this!)
It's a Super Silver Haze. One of 3 other SSH in the tent that are untouched. This is the only one of 9 girls showing this.
Nutes are GH FloraNova -Grow- + Calmag Plus + GHBioRoot 630 TDS total
Ph. 6.8 - 7.0
Temps 75 - 85f
Mars Hydro 600 wt (on veg) Set about 24" off tops

Any ideas? I see no critters anywhere......

Thanks guys, I could use some advice here!

Peace! Andy.:Namaste:

I've got something really similar going on with some outdoor plants. Can't figure it out for the life of me. I attributed it to a recent heavy hail storm, but now that I see your picture, it seems like I have the same bug you have. I can't find any bugs on the plant though. I was reading somewhere that pill bugs could be the culprit. They feed at night, so that's why we don't usually find them, but I'm not convinced. I've been meaning to go out at night and check them. Maybe you should try the same. I was thinking about checking right after the sun went down. then again right before I go to sleep, then again in the morning before the sun comes up (if I haven't found anything by then). Neem oil didn't seem to have any effect. Neither did spinosad.

I have a similar problem with an outdoor plant as well! I pretty sure it is from larger insects that are predators or just like harmless flies. try spraying using a 1 tsp/ per litter of neam oil to water and spray bottoms of plants. This stops smaller bugs from laying more eggs. hope this helps happy growing!

Try putting a piece of white paper under plant, tapping lightly and seeing if anything falls off.

I know bugs, and these aren't the usual culprits. I believe they are a generic garden pest. It's only happening to the plants that I have growing in recycled soil from an outside coco pile. So that's why I'm pretty sure they are living in the ground. It's happening to my snap peas that are growing in the same soil as well (different pots and different side of the property)

Is 6.8-7.0pH run off measurement or is that the pH of your nutrient solution going in? coco is a 5.8pH medium, some strains like 6.0 in coco.....also, 630ppm is a little high at that stage...I would run them about 400ppm total soup.

Whats up Andy!!, how's life man? Check your pm's

great idea professor! Going to do that tonight.

I'm going to do the same, however, things haven't gotten any worse. just that plant and just those three leaves.
I think I'll just keep an eye out for whatever it may have been.
I did find these guys tonight. Two spiders and probably the bug that did it. So I'm torn. Do I kill said spiders that seem to be catching critters, or let them be? Hell, if all they want is an occasional bug snack, why not live and let live?

Also, while I'm at it, I have something going on with a Pineapple Chunk that's about 4 weeks into flowering. Burning some leaves. I think I just hit her too hard with the nutes. jumped from 800 to 1350 TDS. may have been too much for her. You be the judge?
Same nute line. FloraNova Bloom + Bio root + Calmag Plus + Bud Candy + Kool Bloom on ROed water.
Any feedback on this?? :helpsmilie:

You definitely burned those plants pretty bad. I'm hoping you have flushed them since you realized that? That was almost a double strength does of nutrients you gave them. Whether the needed it or not, you should have probably eased into it. That being said, damage done, now what to do about it? I would flush the medium pretty heavily. Maybe 2x the volume of soil. Not really much else you can do other than hope they bounce back. A flush should stop the burning immediately so if those pictures were taken recently, then you still have time to save them.

Yea iwl, I did a number on her. I flushed today and I'll do it agian tomorrow to clean it up and go from there. It's not terrible. I've done worse. Lol (sad to say):high-five:

And the pics were taken last night.

That FloraNova is some concentrated stuff, and it really doesn't need to be supplemented with the KoolBloom, the KoolBloom will burn them fast as all get out...when starting flower I use it @ 1.25-1.5 ml/gallon, building up to 2-2.5ml/gallon in week 4-6. Remember with LED's you can back off the nutrient & supplement strength a little. Grow Andy grow. :peace:

I'm trying, BG! I'm trying!!
Well folks, I found the holy hell culprits last night. Well, one tonight and one last night. Blasted inch worms. I've looked around all the girls, but if Effing impossible to see every square inch for inchworms.

I started SNS209 a couple days ago at the lowest dose, 8ml / gal.
If you want know about it:

So I hope this stuff helps. It makes no claims as to worms.
I turn to my 420Mag family; any good inchworm remedies out there??

Thanks, guys, Andy. :Namaste::thanks:

Oh, and how the hell do I get my latest journal to appear in my signature??? Got me stumped.

HI McCdive,

I just had a problem with inchworms on my outdoor plants. They come in all kinds of colors and are larvae from a Common Pug Moth. I just made a blog entry in my "bad bugs" section. LOL They do extensive damage and the moth can lay hundreds of eggs for over wintering.

You need to watch for moths flying around or hanging about in your grow area. You can see them at night when you have a small light on, or use the evil eye and search for them on ceilings or walls etc. during the day.
They lay their eggs on the plants, I think I saw one in your spiders nest on one of the pics. Very small eggs.
Usually the eggs are attached to the stems and where the leaves emerge from the stem. You may have brought them with the soil too.
I would definitely be searching around for the moths. They will lay their eggs for wintering soon.

Spiders are your friends. They will feed on the smaller critters. If you get aphids, gnats, or other small pests, those spiders will help you.

For your signature, go to "setttings" then to "my settings" on the left side bar. You will see a tab for "edit signature". When you get to that page click on the little globe "Link" in the choices above the signature box. Then paste your URL of the journal page in there.
Click on "Save" or preview your changes before saving.

:circle-of-love:

I'd hit them with a foliar spray according to the bottle a few minutes before lights out, since they like to feed in the dark.. They are cutworms/inchworms and are from Moth's, eradicate the Moth's, Andy...eradicate the Moth's..lol
