Flowering day 8 Update: when I went to check in on the girls this morning they were really thirsty they looked super sad so I gave them 2 gallons of water this morning... When my lights came back on they were all nice and perky again so they are happy once again... Oh and they are starting to show their first signs of budding... Here are some pics...
The group
Flowering day 10 Update: Yesterday I did a decent sized trim... Pretty much just the stuff under the canopy that wasn't getting a lot of light... Today I gave them a feeding of 2 gallons... I should probably start mixing up 3...
Each gallon had:
2 tsp micro
3 1/2 tsp bloom
1 Tbsp catalyst
2 tsp cal-n-mag
2 tsp hi-brix
1/2 tsp Big bloomin guano
1 tsp godsilica
I took out the grow nutes this time but will add it back in next feeding... I just think they have enough nitrogen for a little while...
yeah I thought it seemed like they were showing really quick probably the age of the mother the clones were taken off of... its unfortunate that when buying clones from a dispensary you don't really know those things...
No dought. Five zero trees in Portland has huge clones. I'm ready to flip in under two weeks. I've found light quality has a lot to due with early flowers. Your doing something right.
Flowering day 16 Update: I gave the girls a feeding today 3 gallons... Well 2 so far because I didn't have time to bubble all 3 and the pump only really works well for 1 at a time so I had one bubbling last night that I gave this morning... Then I gave them the 2nd gallon when the lights turned on... I switched the airstone over to the 3rd gallon at 6ish so it can bubble for a few hours and I'll give them that gallon before I go to sleep... I gave them a watering at some point in the week... But I can't remember what day... I also took some pics today... I noticed Carly (Cookie-Fi) has some purpleish hairs which is cool and Tanya (Tangie Banana Surprise) has them also... Shirley (Sunset Sherbet) has some spots that kinda look like a rusty color and some kinda yellowish spots... I think they might have to much micro nutrients... Well anyway my feeding per gallon was:
2 tsp grow
2 tsp micro
4 tsp bloom
4 tsp catalyst
2 tsp cal-n-mag
2 tsp hi-brix
1 tsp Big bloomin guano
1 tsp godsilica
Next time I will probably lower and/or take some things out... Here are the pics
Is that tsp/gal? Looks like strong feed. Do you have TDS pen? What's your ec or ppm. Flower's look good. Once you water/feed, no need to add more. Just once or twice a week is fine. Constant watering is bad for roots.
I don't normally water like that it's just how it worked out... probably is a strong feeding still trying to get my feel for what it wants... Yes tsp per gallon... No I don't have a ppm or ph pen... I water/feed every 2-3 days alternating between plain water and feeding... I just wait till the pots are really light then water...
It's working, but to dial in some you will need a few tools. I see some burnt tips showing a strong feeding. I know feed/ water is normal but once you get a feel for nutes you can feed every time to keep feed from cycling high then low every week. Try to keep it steady all week.
Not much smell yet actually which is kind of weird... When you come into town to see them my lights are only on from 8pm-8am so you will probably have to come over at night to check them out...
you might have nitrogen toxicity going on. I think I fed a little too hot the time before last and I got rust spots then yellow and some dying leaves. they have been out in the rain lately and also watered once in the last heat wave and they are starting to get right again.
Looking good Homie. I didnt really see anything that was too high. Maybe the microblast and calmag. But I dont even know about that. But You do have some burnt tips so your too high on something. Not really sure what it is tho. Iv been giving mine 3tsp of grow with twice a week. Along with 3tsp of bloom and 3 tsp of big bloomin. But every plant is different. I dont think your too far off from having it down. They arent real burnt so I wouldnt worry too much. Just dial it in.
Ok I have been slacking but here is the update... So it's day 43 of flower I have been fighting white powder mildew because of large humidity fluctuations that I can't seem to control I also noticed some spider mites coming back on on the sunset sherbet... I have been spraying them with sm90 every 3 days it's supposed to help with the mildew and mites... Over the last 2 weeks sunset sherbet has gotten super yellow... I backed off the nutes because I thought it was getting burnt I dunno what's up with it... I gave it a lower dose feeding probably about 5-6 days ago then a higher dose feeding the day before yesterday... The lower dose feeding was:
1 tsp grow
2 tsp bloom
1 tsp catalyst
1/2 tsp cal-n-mag
1 tsp hi-brix
1 tsp Big bloomin guano
1/4 tsp meta k
And the higher dose was:
2 tsp grow
4 tsp bloom
2 tsp catalyst
1/2 tsp cal-n-mag
2 tsp hi-brix
2 tsp Big bloomin guano
1 tsp meta k
1/4 tsp Godsilica
1/4 tsp microblast
I have to move in a week and can't grow there so I will have to move my setup to a friends house... Other than the problems the buds look quite nice but I have been feeling discouraged because after this grow I won't be able to grow for a while... Plus I don't feel in control with this current grow I don't have money for a dehumidifier which would help me a lot... Blah... Here are some pics...
