Indoor Durban Poison Clones In Coco, First Time Cloning & Using Coco

Those sure are some frosty buds :bravo:
Thank you!

A couple of shots with the macro lens, it is a bit difficult to get a steady shot of the bud, it's more of a focus on one area as opposed to a full lens shot.

But it does give me a clearer look at the trichomes, it'll do.

On with the show.

I thought I was a couple of days away from harvest and tonight I see there is some new pistil growth so I'll wait a week but I'll check daily.

I finally had a chance to cut a test bud from the lower canopy off of Thelma.

It has a tiny popcorn bud near the bottom of the stem.

Looks great man, buds came out killer ! any guesses towards your final yield?
I'd be happy to get 2 ounces off of these, it's been a rough grow, delays, complications, and unfinished training, I'm surprised they haven't hermied, the mother did, real bad.

Those look really good man. I'd say your window is open. How was the tester bud ?
Thanks, I haven't had it yet, probably tomorrow, I wanted it to dry a day or two at least.

*Screams from the back row* Picture of the month quality!! Looks crip to me!! Gag weed.. Aloha Canuckush!! Brah!! Looks amazing!! Sending nothing but positive thoughts and vibes!
:passitleft:

Looking really good Canuck, what percentage of Amber's were you looking for to harvest at?
Thanks, because dp are known for a clear, energetic high I was thinking a low percentage, 5% amber, maybe not even that much! I'll be trying the test bud either tonight or tomorrow and see where it's at.

The tester got a thumbs up from the 2 testers and myself, definitely high with some great happy feelings, felt it in my head then in my chest, I thought it was going to get racey but it didn't, it sure eased my arthritis and muscle aches. I just wished I washed my bowl first so I can taste just this bud.
Our main floor always has a pungent, earthy smell from the grow closet!

On with the harvest.

At 4 am this morning these we're finally hung back in the closet with a small fan and a dehumidifier going and back into the darkness.

They didn't yield much but it's bud and it smokes well.
These girls had a rough start that I believe stunted their growth, improper ph, no nutrients for a month and unfinished training. I'm really glad that they didn't Hermie or die, I really didn't see any problems with the plants until really late in bloom.
I'm looking forward to starting the next run, I have a couple of journals to do so I'm going to spread out this bounty of beans I was blessed with into a few different journals in the coming year.

These will hang for the week then I'll put some in a paper bag or large glass jar with a hygrometer too see if they are around 62% after a few hours, if not then I'll hang another day or 2 then check again. If I can get them stable between 55 & 65 % then I'm good, into the jars they'll go and burp a few times a day daily for a couple of weeks, then once a day for a couple more weeks.

Thank you for all of the advice, tips and encouragement from such a wonderful group of dedicated growers, this has been such a good learning experience and going forward it should get better and I'll continue to learn as I go!
I'm ready for the next run this time, I have a ph pen now and more than enough nutrients to start whether in coco or dwc so there should be no feeding issues, just veg for 45-60 days and flip!

Final weight will follow once I decide when they'll go into their jars.

Happy growing everyone and on with the show!

Congrats on the harvest. Sure you are going to enjoy your bounty. :)
Thank you, can't go wrong with some Christmas bud!

Happy growing?
