So here are the 4 biggest I have in veg now.I have been so wrapped up in my flowering plants that I have not posted any pic's of them lately.I think I should have topped them a couple of time's,but I have many of clones to work with and I think I'll have enough time to get 8 good lady's for next round,which is in about 3 weeks.Thank you Jimmy6K

As of today it is Day 42 since flip,so I figure they are good month in.I did add Beasty Bloomz to my feeding schedule.I will water with it once a week for a few weeks.First does was 1/4 teaspoon.It has some real high numbers so I want to be careful.Well see if they like it.If they like it,I may finish with Cha ching.Thank you Jimy6K

Also,there was a hempy2l with growstone/perlite I was exp,with that never got a good start so I took her out and opened up some of the bigger lady's.I did a quick trim and now will try and figure out the best way to dry/cure.I think a box type with a fan would work.Idk.Right now I have it in my living room,in brown paper bag with the top open,in low light,with ceiling fan moving air.Any idea's are appreciated.Here are some more pic's.

Day 49 from flip.They all have about a 9 week flower time,The strains are Barneys vanilla kush,Bomb THC feminized and Green House Super lemon haze,all were clones.Just a quick recap.Here are some pics. Thank you Jimmy6K

Snapped and healed branch has seemed to turn these leaves purple.

Wow Jimmy! Nice work my friend as those ladies look amazing. That's gonna be one nice yeild of sticky goodness. What do you think of the smart pots that you are using? Do you think they really make a difference? I have just used buckets but don't mind trying new things.

Thanks Trees,I have only grown in SP and the 2l hempy's.I will say the hempy's are bigger but I feed allot more then the soil pot's.I like the SP tho.They are easy watering,good aeration and washable.They also air-prune the root structure.I think that would be the big difference from your buckets.When I water they sit and in the run off and soon suck it up,until I feel the have had enough.I water mostly by weight of plant.Price is not bad either.I am interested in what the root structure looks like after there finished.That should tell us if this air-pruning works.

You watering once a day on average for the 2L Jim? We have pretty different mediums now that I look at it.. I let my medium (about 70%soil/30% perlite) dry out for like 2 - 3 days.. My question was going to be about the 2L buds that are being produced, but with our different medium, strain, and schedule results are totally different.. Im liking the perlite vermiculite mix you are using, allows you to feed your girls a lot more, that root system is massive.. Probably why my girls are so scrawny, I let them dry out a little too much aswell. Tried any samples of the BVK Jim??

I do not let dry out.I fill to drain hole with very little run off,and by morning they are thirsty again.They get watered before lights off,just the way my schedule is.As for feeding,I give them what I think they need and don't have to worry about whats in the soil.I think I could have feed a lot more.I have not tried any of BVK yet.The plant I cut was Super lemon haze and was chopped early.I have 4 nice lady's I have vegged for 2 month's in soil.I think I will transplant in to 3 gal hempy with 70/30 v/p.I will know more after final chop.I have 6 2lh and 6 ffof/ffhf soil #1 and#2 smart pots.So we will see soon.

So yesterday a couple of my plants leaf's were curling a they looked a little dry.I gave a lite bloom feeding and this morning they may have gotten a little worse.I have gotten the BVK and Bomb THC mixed and can not tell the difference and did not mark pot's.The Bomb THC has a 7-8 week flower time.BVK has 8-9.Could this be the Bomb tellin me it's ready?Today is day 50.I have not done any flushing ,just slowly reducing nute's.Also it's only like 3 plants that are doing this,which makes me think it's the Bomb with 7 week flower time.Here are some pi'cs.What do you guys think? Cricket 9000 to the rescue.

Ok so few things. The leaves to me resemble too hot or too cold death. I would just use a scope to check the trichs and when your plant is 5% amber start flushing. then harvest it in about 10 days. 10 days is usually a nice flush amount and if you start when plant is at 5% it will probably be in the range of 15-35% amber by the time 10 days passes, with nearly all the rest being cloudy.

As for the leaves just pretend like its not really there lol... I seen same thing on my XXX and NYCD. the XXX it happened from too hot (too low humidity too possibly) on NYCD is had a similar thing happen from too cold.

BTW as was pointed out it can be caused from drying out as well.

Cricket9000,My buddy.I am enjoying your outdoor garden as I am unable to have one,due to a number of things.My temps are 84 lights on and 71 lights off.I think I will try to get temps a little lower when lights on and start flushing a few as they look ready. Thanks again Cricket9k.you are indeed 9000 in my books.

Then it was not from temps, it was from drying out.

A plant will kill off those buds last, fanleaves are the first to go. Just make sure its not going bonedry as once its at that point the plant can start dying fast. You want it to dry out but just not get bone dry sand in the desert style.

I think you will be ok though, just start watering a little more often if it is indeed fully drying out like you said it was. I mean if its a little hempy in just rocks n perlite i gotta think it needs to be watered multiple times a day.

My hempy,s are doin good.It only seems to be the 3 bomb thc in soil that are drying up.They did get pretty dry one day last week,like bone dry.Ill start flushing bombs and see what happens.Thank you Jimmy6k
