Took a few sample buds that were extra crowded. They will give me a better idea of ripeness from better tric. close-ups hopefully.

Just the small amount of time I had them in the house to take pics and trim had the basement stinking. In a good way though, should be good smoke. Hints of skunk and fresh cut strawberries.

Man i can smell them from here..hope you have a couple extra scissors. lol..

You mentioned above all the hairs completely turned later in flower and extra new white pistils coming out near the end. Thats when they usually start really stinking imo..
Ive noticed that giving her couple plain waterings at the end.

Yeah they are stinking but in an almost floral way with undertones of weed. I'm getting all kinds of smells with the sampler buds. I busted a dry enough but uncured bud last night and swear I smelt Vic's Vapor Rub.

Yeah, it feels a little sad but once I get going, it becomes a task to complete. I probably think more about the crop as I'm trimming.

A couple of grows ago, the wife helped me trim, but I'm sure it will be a one man operation until late into the night. I remember visiting the grandparents growing up and being part of their produce harvest, pea/bean shelling, and corn shucking. It went on for weeks. Kinda puts my little day or two of scissor work, sitting on the couch, listening to fine music, into perspective.

When you put it like that , yeah we have it pretty good.
Did the grandparents have a farm?
Or just a great garden?
My grandmother had chickens.
I just remember the dam things chasing me around the yard when I was little.
No room for a garden it their tiny yard, in Ireland.
Hopefully the trimming isn't too bad.

It's good for a young fella, get your hand dirty and work up a sweat.
Makes us who we are today.
No offense to who ever reads this but it's better than sitting on your ass playing video games. IMO
Pulling weeds out of my parents garden was a never ending chore when I was young.
It seemed that way, nothing wrong with child labor.

I chopped the VK, cleaned up the room, and set up a new reservoir for the Panama. Moved the Panama into the flood and drain vacated by the Vanilla Kush.

Now I am having lunch and then I'll be trimming and hanging VK at least late into the night and probably tomorrow too.

The harvest was bountiful.

I am pretty tired and a little bug eyed from trimming for hours on end. I relaxed for a couple of hours. Checked on the current grows, had a good dinner. Not much to be done until they are ready to fine trim and jar. I may lay a few out on a decent backdrop with good light and get some good pictures soon. They are wet and sticky at the moment.
