I don't consider myself an expert. Some things about the process could be considered "truths", and other things might be more of preference.
For me the real trick is in the curing. And I prefer it to happen slowly even if my anticipation is driving me crazy.
I also chuckle a bit when weight is discussed. From the time it's dry enough to smoke until it's fully cured, I have no idea how much I've already smoked, because it's already been shrinking to an extent without me touching it.
If I'm not tracking cost, revenue, and profit, the true weight is kinda meaningless.
How good is it? How does it taste? How long will it last me? Are my main questions. :yummy:

Plan is to put them on PHed water tomorrow, but they are still drinking from a 10 day old res. that I have been just topping up and keeping the PH in the zone. I might wait till the next day to start the straight water.

Around day 50 of flower, I removed a couple of crowded buds and have been letting them dry out(two weeks). I tried a couple of small bowls this morning as a wake'n bake from a clean pipe.
It didn't taste bad, but not cured
I got a good buzz, which kinda surprised me because I smoke a lot
It's a head buzz with sensation around the eyes, relaxed, not frantic.
The bud was not mature and not cured but still good. I'm hopeful.

Below, picture of my most used smoking tool. A small glass pipe. It may not hold much, but I'd rather have to load it a lot and get the taste of unburnt bud more often.

Awwww the buds are getting nice and frosty.....good work my friend.

And I have a one hitter for the same reason I want fresh green each hit not ash and a back end of green lol

Changed out the res. with PHed water. The plan is to harvest on Thursday. I'll try the 36 hour darkness beginning on Tuesday morning.

Hopefully there will be a lot more by the 28th. That's the date I'm shooting for to harvest.

what approx. percent amber are you shooting for? if you take another closeup on Monday, would be nice to see progress and to compare with these. in any case, I bet you'd have some fantastic bud by the 28th.

I'm mostly wanting them past clear. If most are at least cloudy then I'm okay. If most are amber, that's okay too. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm enjoying the clear triched green bud. :rolleyes:

I have been smoking the same strain too long. :oops:
