LiveAndLetGro's 1st Time DWC LED Bagseedx4 Grow, 2017

Little afternoon update action...I went back through and did the snap test on the stems. About half were snapping and ready to be jarred up so I began the cure on 109 grams of Legz and 71 grams of The Freak so far, but, the biggest stems and nugs of both are getting another day or two of hanging. Once they are done we will have the whole yield amount :cheesygrinsmiley:

With the popcorn added in we are at about 185 grams between the two...so far... :cheesygrinsmiley:

That's a lot of weeds!! :)

Yes sir! I'm really surprised at how much there is. I will definitely have enough to last me until my next go round. I played around a little with some nugs and the camera tonight. I'll keep practicing, hopefully I can get some good shots of the big nugs when they are dry.

Well Friends, looks like the final numbers are in! I jarred up the rest of it today. Ended up using all 12 of my quart mason jars! I must say I did not expect to harvest this much my first time around. I am delightfully surprised! So, without further adieu, the numbers...

Legz - Final Dry Weight - 152 grams - 5.4 ounces

The Freak - Final Dry Weight - 125 grams - 4.4 ounces

Total Harvest weight - 280 grams - 10 ounces

(added in three grams of popcorn, conservative guess)

:thedoubletake:

My new years resolution this year was to not spend so much money on my med's. I bought my last bag on 7/1. I don't plan on ever doing that again. I believe after 7 months of hard work and research I have accomplished my goal. I haven't been testing it really, just a bit here and there, but so far so good. I am going to use what I bought while my harvest cures.

In the back of my mind I had a goal of half a gram per actual watt used. With my 2 "600 watt" LED's I was actually pulling 552 total watts. With a harvest weight of 280, I met my goal there as well!

Pics coming later :cheesygrinsmiley:

Amazing. That is an awesome spread. If my ladies produce a fraction of what you have there, I'd be a happy camper for sure. You have been greatly rewarded for months of dedication to ensure a healthy life of those two wonders of Mother Nature. Now they get to pay you back. Enjoy! Great job. Glad I got to follow along. Thank you for sharing.

With that, I believe this grow journal is complete. All I can say is WOW! What an experience! I have learned soo much here at 420 with the help of many fellow growers. To T2G1, Weezze, Greengo, BoomShakalaka, wildflowerbudd, bedroomfarmer, Lonestar, Kingjoe, and anyone else who stopped by during my journey...I would like to just say THANK YOU for sharing your valuable knowledge, experience, and attention.

A HUGE shout out to Gauge Steel who has been with me the entire length of the grow. Thanks for sticking around brother!

As a note: We all know there are other forums out there. I know now I chose the right one to join. When I do online searches for answers I would often be directed to the other places. I found the members on the other forums to be, I guess, immature and nowhere near as helpful as the folks here. This is the first forum I joined and the only one I belong too. I honestly feel blessed to have this extended network of friends.

I look forward to sharing more great experiences with everyone here at 420! I never imagined how great it would be to have so many like minded individuals in one place. This is a fantastic community with a vast wealth of knowledge and love to share.

T2G1, Thank you so much for being here! It has been so nice to have you and other farmers helping out! Now that I have finished up I should have more time to tag along on everyone else's journeys!

Hey Guys, I wanted to brag a minute before I close my journal...You may have noticed I have a new title under my name...I got 2nd in the Creme de la Creme photo contest for the month of June! How cool is that!

Hope all is well in your world.

Thanks for sharing this grow with us. :goodjob:

Please head over to the 420 Strain Reviews forum and post your smoke report there too.

I’m moving this to Completed Journals now.

Have you started a new grow you would like to share with us?

If so, please feel free to start a new journal here: Journals in Progress

Sending you lots of love and positive energy.

:Namaste:

Hello? Hello? Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home?
Hello sir I’m new at the DWC. Ur plants look healthy. Without any rockwool being used how do you get the seed to start in the pebbles? I’m trying to not get fungus gnats. Hey buddy thanks for anything that you can get me

hiya @Buckroid
this thread has been closed for some time. you may not get a response.

welcome to the site :welcome:

click on this link and have a quick read through.
after that post here and say hello to everyone.

the short answer to your question is dwc growers will start seeds in rockwool, rapid rooters, peat plugs, and other seed starting media before transplanting to hydroton ( clay pebble ).
