This is the first hydro project I've done, and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Even the bases of these ladies are awesome. One has root shoots that kept growing up the stem where the clone foam plug was touching, now they are shooting out above ground, lol.

Thanks for taking a peak at my journal today!!

The build process is almost complete. Got the recirculating kit installed this morning, and filled with nutes and water. This is mid build. I get so excited that I forget to document parts, lol.

Gave everyone a small trim of lower leaves that had been splashed on by water/nutes and taken burn from it, and the ones that were stopping good air circulation. Here is a photo of our breeds.

Orange is the strawberry Cough
Red is the Black Hyena
Yellow is the Sour Diesel
Green is Candy Kush
Blue is Sour Fire Lost
The Northern Lights is out of the pic on the left.

The SFL and the NL and the CL came as clones from LB07, about a week after he started flower. The SFL and CK went back into veg immediately, where the NL said hell no and stuck itself in flower. They are small, almost the exact height as when they were cut, they have super healthy roots, but they are putting out pistils and looking a little unhappy compared to the rest, but in the end I have to choose 10 of the 14 total plants to flip, and the rest will be juiced (also the SD and SC were bag seeds, and could end up as males) (hope not, pray to ganja god for girls, they are so strong and are building really good structure.

When I get up tomorrow I'll start a first round of LST, not going to scrog this round, just local training to the bucket edges. I'm so excited about this round. After the last two grows I feel like I have learned a few techniques that will help streamline the grow, and hopefully maximize the outcome too!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, see ya in the morning!

Cheers

Here are a couple more shots ..

Lastly, I didn't want to drill holes in these bucket tops, yet needed something sturdy. I'm gonna try these with training wires attached. I wired up one plant this afternoon, we'll see how she looks tomorrow.

Good morning! Here is a couple out of LED light shots while applying today's low stress training session. Lots of branch bending to get them a little lower and way more light to the entire plant. Did a bit of leaf tucking, seems like a better practice than cutting out fans when practical.

Seems like these things are coming along super fast, not sure of how long it will go on before I flip to flower. The stretch has me concerned on all the sativas, but the way the SFL stretched on LB07's current grow (like 400% or something crazy!) would suggest they will have to be snapped and stripped and bent to a controlled mass. That's it for now, enjoy the day...time to watch some football.

Cheers.

Nice. Looking great. The girls enjoy all that training. They always do. N thx for out of led photos. Nothing light purple photos. I just put my led glasses infront of my phone when I take pics lol.

Totally, I have one of the lenses from mine on the camera that watches the room, and the other in the glasses frame still. They look funny with only one lens but no one else but me sees me with safety glasses with only one green lens:). I don't wear them too often anymore, for obvious reasons. Like you said, mostly just for filtered pics.

This is the cam with the green filter.

Thanks for coming by Swag!

upps :) See you already finished the room - lol

Your tent is looking amazing JB! The SFLs may not stretch 400%. One only stretched 430% and the other stretched 330%. Not that bad right? Ladies grew from 16-17"-70" tall ... Your labeling seems spot on from what I can tell.

Why the third or fourth? I usually top all the way to the bottom so I end up with 4 tops

Yes if you're running photo plants then you can top at the 3rd or 4th node. Autos get topped at 14-21 days usually
