QB, MH, HPS, T5, LED New Fast Hybrids, BBxC99xFast, WhiteWidowxFast, #1SkunkxFast, FastChilly Perpetual Tent City, Clone To Harvest

So tired and rundown
The perpetual is catching up on me.
I'm not sure how you keep up with that large setup it's impressive! :bravo:You sure have got it dialed in though. Your partner in crime (wife/girlfriend) not interested in helping?
Money maker. 1992 cup winner. One of the first hybrids by strain hunters.
Thanks for that bro, i'll be sure to add to it my to-grow list. I am a big fan of Greenhouse Seeds & Strain Hunters, not sure how i missed that. Appreciate the info!

Nah the missus doesn't really help out but its the deal we struck for me to leave full-time work so I'm home all day. It wouldn't be so bad if I had multiple drip systems set up with different size poly tubes ready to go so i can switch between a 10 pot or say a 5 pot setup. This is where ebb and flow would benefit but once its all cut out and ready to go I can go back to my auto feed setup which is F all work really. Just rez change once a week, maintain PH and change pump filter every couple days.

Yeah, i love strain hunters too man. I loved white lemon so much but lost her to mites a few years ago. Im keen to get some more of theirs again soon. take it easy bro. Have a splif for me

Absolute nightmare of a night for me.
I may have picked the worst night to make the full switch to QBs & White LEDs.
Almost zero degrees outside. realised at 3 am after spending all night switching out my HiDs, that I was never going to get the bloom tent past 18 degrees Celsius while maintaining less than %60 humidity but more importantly maintaining negative pressure with enough fan power for my carbon filer so I don't stink out half the block. I tried to drag more warm air from my living area but it didn't work.

Worked for 16 hours straight through redoing the tents with 2 400W Hids plus 2 blurples in the bloom tent which is now a veg tent until transition. Finally stabilised the temps and should be able to maintain 28 degrees, %50 humidity and negative pressure overnight during the light on photoperiod while blooming. Its midday now and im ready for bed

Damn MH, take a smoke and hit the sack! :passitleft:

Day 6 propagation

Clones are chugging along nicely. Lots of nodes

Did a rez change, cleaned everything, dissasembled pump then put it all back together.
Air stone and pump filer are in hot water and bleach. Guaranteed if you get bacteria forming, it will begin in there. especially the pump filter.

Small Veg tent

I love it when my mothers, small veg and large veg are all on the same nutes and rez. It won't last long but I'll take anything I can get atm. Just diluting small veg slightly with ph water.
Little guys are doing very well. root system nicely developed. Still topping and defoliating any that get too big or deficient while the little ones catch up but all in all most are becoming more uniform.

Still under two 2ft, 4 bulb, 100w T5s.
No flush yet
Just small feeding once a day until flush and transplant

Those girls in the small veg tent are as happy as can be :bravo:

Thanks bro. You've got a smooth running operation going on, there is so much good growing going on, trust me people are watching..:nomo: My journal was very quiet initially but the more i got involved with other journals and interacted with more people, they showed more and more interest! :ganjamon:

Large Veg tent

Plants are loving it in the new tent with the HiDs and LEDs.
Honestly, this is as healthy a plant you ever gonna see in late veg. Some have over half a dozen main stems.
They got plenty of room to spread out and grow wide. topping and defoliating the biggens while a couple small ones catch up before transition. hoping to switch 12/12 in a week or two max

All tents getting same nutes except SKyOg
Maxibloom

MonstaGrow
GoRoots
Silika
Ryzofuel
Sweetaz
Molasses
FloraMicro
CMX
PH down
EC 1.8
PH 6.0
Most additives my own dose or discretion depending on what the plants need. Half strength Maxibloom and Monstagrow till EC

The new tent is the old bloom one which will transition to bloom along with the plants,
A recap:
its a 4x8
6" grofan
can carbon filer
Vivosun silencer
75% humidity
28 degrees Celcius
2 oscillating fans up top and two solid ones down below the canopy
1 Flap open and one intake vent dragging co2 rich air from inside my living space

I'm happy to answer any and all questions since I know late veg can sometimes be a hassle with deficiencies and when to switch.

Coming soon.

Skywalker OG

Looks like its almost done. It supposed to be a 9-10week. My first time growing it. I'm spotting a couple of brown trics here and there. It looks done as well.
i'll start sweetaz and molasses tomorrow, let the substrate dry out, flush with ph, then ph for a week, then flush again before harvest.
Not happy with the yield but that's what happens when you share a rez with a 7-week strain like money maker.
But the quality is out of this world. So much frost. Supposedly still top 10 strongest strains in the world

Looks like some amazing trich production on that one!

yeah such a famous strain for that. But its hard to grow and puts ppl off. The varying yields ppl get n stuff, some get heaps some get not so much but they all agree its the strongest lol. See how i go on take 2 with another 4 in the room with 6 money maker.

Harvest of MoneyMaker

Big night of work clearing out that hallway of bud. Stoked that we found a couple of seeds aswell. Can def grow a fresh mother from seed and start her journey again. I've cloned and replaced the mother so many times over the last few years I've lost count of how many generations old she is.

Harvest went well. Got the 4 moneymakers done. If you've been following the journal you'd know I don't have the time to do the old school hang and trim manually so we went with the new school approach of using the 420 debudder,
trimmer and drying racks.

It's not ideal but I needed the time to set up an 8 pot DTW setup in the new bloom tent before they go into transition so I been measuring and cutting poly all night.

Some of the nugs came out really nice. I like a bit of uniformity with my buds to get an even dry and cure. I hate big buds. Big buds mean big stem, more propensity for mould and longer drying and curing times for me. I know many will cringe at this but each to thier own. In saying that i hope to do a proper dry for the fast strains that ive dedicated to this journal.

Heres a few buds

Hard to say what it will yield. Moneymaker tends to lose a lot of that swell in the dry. Its an old-school strain with an almost outdoors bush bud feel about her but we love it for its awesome daytime stone and super chill vibe. If you ever wanted to relive the 90s then she's your girl.

Awesome harvest bro, that money maker sure does have a old school look to it. Never seen that debudder, but i can really see it being very helpful on those big hauls. I'll have to look at something like that for my next outdoor harvest. :ganjamon:

Cheers mate. My wife always helps on harvest night and she does that while I use the trimmer. She barely uses it except for the big buds on the ends of the colas and some of the little scraggly ones that take forever to de-stem. It's really handy if you're pushed for time.

Cleaning and setting up the next DTW setup

4 hours sleep, 4 coffee's and too many bongs to remember and its been another productive night.
:lot-o-toke::bongrip::cool:
Spent the first half feeding the veg tents, attending to the clones and cleaning out my grow space. It was a mess.
Then set up the waste outlets from my pro-pot DTW setup.

IMG_20190601_044302.jpg
IMG_20190601_044242.jpg

I've made a DIY multi-level tray setup underneath to allow the water to better flow with gravity. The furthermost away from the outlet is higher, with the trays becoming shorter as the line gets to the outlet. Basically, the water flows downwards slightly.

Then I noticed high humidity in the SkyOG tent so i added a very small and cheap 4" fan to bring in fresh warm Co2 rich air from my living area and its worked perfectly along with another 6" inlet to relieve the burden on the fans while maintaining negative pressure to filter the air through the CF.

IMG_20190601_044404.jpg

The rest of the night was spent cleaning out and drying my old DTW setup and then doing the same for the feeders and taps to be used in my new setup again
IMG_20190601_044204.jpg

I cleaned them with vinegar, bicarb soda and eco-friendly dish soap. We use this combo to clean everything in our house. We own no other cleaning products besides those 3 mentioned, bleach and H2O.

Up next;
propagation day 7, setting up DTW, flushing Sky OG and setting up rez

Propagation Day 7

Roots have started bursting out all over the place.

I'll keep rez temps up around 25-28 degrees for a couple more days before bringing in a temp controller and lowering the temps to around 22 to avoid bacteria with less H2o2.
I'll dump the rez tomorrow and start adding Cyco - Ryzofuel and Ozi Magic - Sweetaz at 0.5ml per litre aswell now that roots are beginning to establish themselves.
