Raventokes Perpetual Auto Grow

Sorry it’s been so long since my last post. We had a death in the family and I needed to withdraw for a while. Rarely have I been so grateful to have my garden to tend, to help life grow amid all the grief. On that note here is the love ❤️ shack 2.0.

I moved them to a 2x4 tent and added 4 Anvil auto regs that have not shown sex yet to the left side of the tent. The Purple Micro Dots are on the right, Male in the back. The Anvil seedlings were started in rock wool two weeks before the PMD. I have been running a experiment with some reg autos using the fact that I would toss half to run more and get more accurate results. This is what I have found. Rapid rooters are the worst way to start autos for a perlite Hempy (They work just fine for a coco Hempy). Rock wool is meh at lest half the plant were stunned and all are taking longer in veg. Putting the autos in straight perlite is BY FAR the best method I have found. Once the roots hit the rez they take off. My next experiment will be running coco vs perlite Hempy. Much more to come very soon.

Say goodbye to Sour Stomper #1 she got the chop last week. She was a tall one a got too close to the light. She definitely felt the burn! I should have done a two part harvest but I was almost out smoke so chop, chop the whole plant was cut. I also have another Sour Stomper that I am still letting mature.

The Bobby’s Widow also got the chop. I actually started harvesting her before the Sour Stomper but I let the lower nugs go another week and I am glad I did. They ripened up nicely in that time. Bellow is a picture of her mid Harvest.

I mentioned in my last post that I moved my “Love Shack” to a 2x4. That was because I needed my 2x2 for a drying tent. Behold the fruits of my harvest!

They are good now, especially the Sour Stomper, but I am betting by Mid October the Bobby’s will be my favorite taste wise after the cure. The Sour tastes like menthol, some gas, a little grape. The Bobby’s has a faint taste of berries and the sweet end of acetone.

The Key lime Autos are doing well. I have been a little down lately and have not put the time into the garden that I should. That first Key Lime is getting a bit of a cal mag deficiency. I was using Master Crop but I have gone back to Jacks 321. My DWC loved Master Crop and I had zero problems with it. My Hempy plants are liking Jacks much better. As you can. See the ladies are in mid Flower and starting to smell great! I am very happy with the size of these plants In 2.5 gallon buckets but They could be a few inches bigger so I have decided that 3 gallon buckets will be the way to go for me. Major changes will be coming to the garden in the next couple of month. Going with small tents so I can have a better environment for plants in different stages of growth and the option to run photos if want.

I am so behind on posting, and I am really hoping to catch up this weekend. We will see. So I harvested the Lemon Star from Gasreaper. The last of my DWC. She did well for a stunted plant that I almost tossed. A lot of loose airy buds on the lowers, but she is also the stickiest plant I have ever grown, so I am betting that the rosin from those lower buds is going to be insane! First photo is about a week before harvest and the second is just befor harvest.

Waiting for her to cure right is taking a lot of willpower! The buds look so tasty right now.

So I killed the male Purple Micro auto. He was just putting out too much pollen and making me nervous everything would get seeded. I did save some of the pollen. Bellow is a photo of a very pregnant female.

Idk where I have been but :bravo:everything looks fantastic that you harvested. Very sorry to hear of your family loss. Much peace, love and prayers to you. Good luck, I'll be watching you now!

I don’t know how much time is left for her, but the brown tips/edges and advancing yellowing seems to be indicating K def. What’s your current fertilizer dosing?
She has over a month still. It took me a minute because I had never experienced it before but she needs twice a day feeding. Her not pregnant sister needs only once a day in the same size pot. Also the yellow I knew was a
Deficiency but I thought the brown tips was a toxicity of some kind. A K deficiency would make since of some problems I have had in the past. They get about 1000pm of Jacks 321. I also just added a bloom booster to this last batch of fertilizer.

So I have completed, kinda, upgrading my grow space. Two tall tents are for plants into the flowering stage. The tiny tent to the left side in the middle is the drying tent, and the right middle is the seedlings. Feels good to have a better, safer setup!

The Key Lime Crush autos are in late flower now and I just gave them there first trim. My hands reek of key limes! I hope and pray they smoke like they smell! Looks like I will have to take the plants out of the tent to get a proper photo.

I’ll assume that you know the correct order to mix the 321. Is the 1000ppm calculated or measured with TDS pen? If measured, what are your exact measurements for Part A, Part B, and Epsom? What is the bloom booster - and when do you add it?

As given on the Jack’s Nutrition site:

3.7 grams Part A

2.5grams Part B
1.1 grams of Epsom salts

This would be close to max dose and it provides:

148ppm N
50ppm P
211ppm K
138ppm Ca
90ppm Mg
and acceptable micro levels

The Ca and especially the Mg are pretty high. If you have much in your water, there could definitely be some antagonistic issues with K uptake.

And since the P and K levels are already pretty high, adding a bloom booster high in P and K may throw things out of wack - especially if mixed in the wrong order - some of your K could be precipitated out.

I use RO or softened water so extra Ca or Mg from the water are not an issue. I am putting 30,20,10 grams into about 10 gallons of water. I just added about 6 grams of potassium phosphate to that. 0-52-34

Got it! So that’s:
119 N
41 P
171 K
111 Ca
76 Mg

Potassium phosphate adds (per g/gal) 20ppm P and 49 K. I think you are okay to add this right after the Part A, since it already contains P and K. But it doesn’t look like the mix needs more P and K tbh.
