How's the side by side grow going bro

Hey guys, sorry for the silence, but i was busy doing my thesis.
I had some problems the past days with Anesthesia, because she can't handle the power of leds like King Tut. Some of her leaf are curvy. However i can say her leaves are very beautiful, with a deep green that give her a gently and soft aspect.

Side by side this is the situation:

Tutan is a monster. She keep pushing. She wants more. More nutrients, more light. She is now getting close to the leds, but look at her leaves. They tend to the light, they want more :)

She stretched a lot in the past days

And finally her wonderful white hairs

Yesterday i made a light defol, but probably she needs more.
Today i switched her to flowering nutrients. 1400 Ec, 5.4 Ph.
In the next days i'll try to move Anesthesia closer to the led, because actually some of her branches are getting shadow by King Tut.

Any advice and/or any question is welcome guys :)

Damn mate that dwc lady is a full monster.perfeclty grown really good job.it shows;).u got me thinking of switching to dwc .but the thought of it sounds confusing and scares me away everytime.i get huge plants in soil.i dread to think what monsters i could grow when got dialed into dwc? Im gna have a hard think about this.thanks and happy growing;)

U shouldn't be scared at all. You know everything about the plant, you know how to react at every single signal she gives to you. That is the hard part.
You make some big plants in soil, i can't even imagine what kind of monster you can grow with your talent, your Goliath and a dwc system.

Tesla, really nice comparison of the two. It's a bit of an eye opener showing the potential of dwc. Nice work. Keep us updated

Thank you man! I hope to show you guys some big buds soon!

Hello friends! Updates!

Anesthesia (day 49 from germination)
Since one week i was seeing some flying insect roaming near my little Anesthesia. There weren't much, like 10-20, every day, even though i was killing em almost every day. I made some research and what i thinked was simple fruit flies, turned to be fungus gnat. I've read a lot about em in internet and apparently they deposit larvas inside the soil and those larvas slowly start eating the root of your plants till eventually the plant can't live anymore.
My first attempt was to submerge the upper strate of soil with perlite. It helped, but it didn't killed em.
My second attempt was the vinegar method (i know apple vinegar is better but i have balsamic, so i used it). But it didn't work for me.
Finally i decided to use an old insect eliminator that i buyed to kill a spider mites invasion that i had on my old Outdoor Moby Dick. Well, it worked perfectly. I used 12 ml in 0,5 l of water and sprayed it on Anesthesia. In just 30 seconds, every gnat was dieing poisoned. Now my closet seems gnat free :)
It costs 15 euros for just 100 ml but worked good for spiders and gnats :)

Now some pics of the babies.
Anesthesia is still recovering from light stress she received last week, but she is doing good now and entering stretch stage.

This is the side by side situation. Hope she stretches fast because actually some of her is under Tutan shadows.

Now Tutankhamon (day 54 from germinatiom). She is a she. But really is a king. She is very strong and enjoys life everyday. Today refill of water and new EC peak (1500 circa). Also moved back ph to 5.3 so she can fluctuate again till 6.3 where i will move back again.

Seems her final height is 60 cm at her highest point.

I'm still thinking to apply some defoliation on her to assure a good light at every branch, but i'm a little bit paranoic about that because i don't feel so confident yet with defoliation, and i need to study more about it.

I would like to stay at home all days and study till i know everything :circle-of-love:, but university, girlfriend and friends always ask for attentions :D

As always, any suggestion or question is welcomed.

Hey guys, updates!

I feel like Anesthesia is growing very slow actually. She has some yellow nutes burn on the final edge of the leaves. I used half strength on her, but probably is too much. Now i'll be watering her without nutes for a round. Also her slow grow come from Tutan taking all the light. She went too big (i didn't expect this in the beginning that's why i planted 2 seeds). I'll do my best to let her live a good life so actually i'm considering to give her to a friend that could take care of her in a better space.

Now Tutankhamon. I thinked she stopped her growth, but she didn't. She is now 67 cm from the base of her trunk. Her smallest branch has a distance of 25 cm from the lowest pistil to the highest pistil and every day is getting more dense. Her highest branches go over 40 cm from lowest to highest pistil and they are getting very dense :D

Now some pics:
