I wanted to let you guys know what I personally think of @The Seed Fair

From my personal experience as far as purchasing seeds and growing their product. I have nothing bad to say about them. Everything I have planted has sprouted and matured. I’ve grown over 30 of their seeds in the last few years. God’s Gift, Blue Dream for the most part. I have journals of these grows here on the forum. Now I’m currently growing Double Purple Doja, Grandaddy Purple and of course God’s Gift. My orders have always arrived. Even when I’ve mailed cash. My payment was always received. I did however receive the wrong seeds on a recent purchase. I ordered Photos but received Autos. Honest mistake. No big deal. I contacted Mr Wilson. Told him of the situation. We had some back and forth conversations. He went back and checked my order to verify things. So Mr Wilson contacted me today to confirm that they will be sending me the full order to replace the Autos I received. I have offered to return the Autos I received and I have no problem with that. This is the reason I enjoy doing business with @The Seed Fair and I will continue to do so. If you guys haven’t checked them out I’d recommend that you do so. If you have issues simply contact them. Be patient. They will take care of you. Thanks again @The Seed Fair

Here’s some pics of my recent grow. These are all @The Seed Fair seeds.

@IKilledIt, thanks for your review.

I only wish I had read it earlier since the firm (Herbies) I've used over the past 2 years, is giving me grief over my order.

A week after ordering the seeds and payment was made, on Feb. 18, I was contacted by them that they said they made a mistake and need another $10 to ship the order. So I paid another $10.

Today, after 16 days from placing the order, I found out the guys in their shipping department have not even processed my order yet....

To say the least, I'm very dissappointed in these guys and concerned that I've been taken for $140 bucks.

I'll be contacting @The Seed Fair for any further orders.

Thanks again for your post.

Hey @garybo, I thought you had everything straightened out with Herbies? I’m certain that if you haven’t heard anything back then Teddy or Renee can help. I’m a fan of @Herbies Seeds and have recommended them so I want everyone to be treated fairly. CL🍀 :thanks:

@garybo I’d give the @The Seed Fair a shot. Great deals. They have a 420 promo code. Plus they do buy a 10 pack receive 5 free seeds of your choice. If you buy 3 seeds and pay cash you receive 5 free seeds. 4 free seeds when using cash apps. 3 free seeds for CC. Free shipping on orders over $100. They now have a P.O. Box in the US where I mail to. Plus seeds are shipped from the US. Typically takes 3 to 5 days to receive my order with tracking. I did have a late order one time. I ordered a certain strain of Blue Dream but their stock ran out before my cash arrived. It took a week or 2 but when the seeds were in my order was sent out that day. One thing most don’t realize is I ordered these seeds months ago. Plus I had to grow them for a month to even notice they were Autos. So even after 3 months @The Seed Fair honored the order. Plus they let me keep the Autos.

Be careful with the Seed Fair. I just ordered the iconic and unusual Freakshow strain from them. After germination, it was clear I received some mystery strain that does not have the mutant phenotype, which easily identifies Freakshow. Currently, I am having a terrible experience with customer service, they won’t process my refund or tell me how to return these mystery seeds. Yet as of today, they are still selling Freakshow when they know there are literally no Freakshow seeds left for sale on the planet. I found out from Humboldt that Shapeshifter is no longer producing the seeds and all reference to the strain is no longer on their website. I wouldn’t trust them unless you get your seeds in sealed, manufactured packaging or you don’t know what you’re getting.

If I’m not mistaken @Canuk Seeds has Freakshow. I remember several members that grew it in the Comparative grow. CL🍀

I see what you’re saying now, after looking at several distributors that carried it before no longer has any. CL🍀

Sorry to hear that. I just finished 2 Double Purple Doja. No purple or reds what so ever. I have 2 Granddaddy Purple at 6 weeks flower and not a sign of purple either. Not happy myself. The Gods Gift has not disappointed nor the Blue Dream. Guess I can be happy because they were female and they did produce. But like you I actually have no idea what they are.

I’m sorry to hear that, too, but it’s great you got something to hold you over until you can grow something you’re able to confidently identify. I don’t like to talk bad about any seed company, but there is a lot of trust we have to have to give up our hard earned money for premium seeds…we shouldn’t have to worry if we get what we paid for. Once that trust is gone, it’s nearly impossible to win it back. And now after going through what I am now, I wouldn’t be shocked if every order to the Seed Fair is filled from a big bag of random seeds. There is absolutely no excuse to continue to sell a strain after confirming that they have not received authentic seeds from their supplier, but apparently they don’t care. And their “no hassle guarantee” refund is a big freaking hollow promise hassle, at least I paid by CC so I can dispute the charge. It’s back to paying a bit more for seeds that come in the manufacturer’s packaging for me…fool me once…

I bought Caramel Cream and Sour Diesel from North Atlantic Seed Co. Both the seeds and customer service were exceptional, very happy. And for anybody looking for something to try, Caramel Cream is a terpene monster…luscious taste and aroma. Grows well outside, too, it’s mold and pest resistant, finishes mid Oct.

I was just wondering if they threw in some xtra swag with your order. I got a Tshirt and some cool stickers with mine. CL🍀

everyone likes free stuff. there is a charge even when "free". it's also a tradition in the industry, as seed companies had to ship it with other items for stealth. some of the swag is as famous as classic strains.

I didn’t know that but now that you mentioned it, it makes sense. Otherwise they’d be losing money 💰. I give them props for their strategic marketing just the same. CL🍀

the swag is often the majority of the business cost to put an order together. the seed is the least cost to the business / producer.

it's the same in the liquor industry. the box the beer comes in is the greatest cost to the brewer, after factoring in printing graphics etc. the can and label is the next most costly. the cheapest thing is the beer itself, it usually is only fractions of a penny to produce.

making seed is similar to that cost structure.

NASC gave me their sticker, but also included 5 free seeds of Strawnana x Pineapple Upside Down Cake. It’s a strain I had never heard of before, so I was very interested to see it in action. I did one in my tent last fall, it grew as a fruity Indica bush that required thinning after fiming, it has a strong citrus and fruit aroma and tastes great with a fruity, fuel/earth flavor that lingers nicely. I liked it enough that it’s getting one of my six coveted outdoor spots this year…so I’m really happy they gave me a strain that’s really nice. A lot of times those freebie seeds aren’t anything to write home about. NASC isn’t a bargain seed company, but you get what you pay for and the seeds are high quality directly from the cultivars…you know they’re the real deal and usually fresh. I like how they tell you upfront that smaller orders come in approved packaging that’s labeled, the couple of ten seed orders I’ve received from them were in original, unopened packaging.

I recently switched over to The Seedfair; in fact, I received my seed order today: 3 + 3 Blue Dream and 3 Blue Crack. I left my original seed supplier, Crop King Seeds after a order of five CBDutch Treat was a mix of autos and photos. I commented on their website what happened, but the post was never posted. And an email went unanswered.

I emailed a question to Seedfair and they replied within an hour. Customer service is important to me.
