Two Grows In One: Defoliation vs No Defoliation & Skunk #1 x Blue Dream Feminized Cross

Yeah, the gorilla glue auto I put the picture of at the beginning with the 12" bud was left to go natural. Although that one also gifted me with very nice secondary coals as well.

Multi strain runs can be more challenging, but a lot of fun and you end up with a nice variety of smoke. biggest issue I found was different heights. Have to raise some up quite a bit sometimes.

Just a night time pic dump. Enjoy.

First two are the skunk. The rest are the blue dream

Skunk tent moving along and starting to fatten up.

Blue Dream 1 and 2 are getting so dense. I give them a squeeze and they are like trying to squeeze a baseball bat and fingers get so sticky.

3 is a bit more tall and narrow, but still pretty hard.

Not sure what kind of Grinspoon is going on with 4, but it is still super sticky, just not dense. Will still make awesome concentrates.

All of them are starting to get brown pistils, but not a cloudy trich in site. Likely to go at least another two weeks to a total of 8 weeks flower. Maybe to 9 weeks. They are 6 weeks flower now.

Some brown tips emerging so going to back off the nutes a bit for the finish.

I had one of those Blue Dream 'Grinspoon' phenos on my last grow. I'm curious about them now. Mine was a different breeder - HSO. Two breeders apparently produced the same pheno. We're smoking it now. Great weed, just very odd looking.

Nighttime flash pic dump. They are getting close. The 'Grinspoon' like one is filling out a bit.

Skunk tent looks a little deficient, but probably not enough to make a major change at this point. Some of it is starting to purple so will just ride it out. Getting a bit of tacoing so I raised the lights a bit more and sped up the exhaust fan. Humidity is up and so have the Temps been the last few days. I will water lightly and sparingly the next week or so.

Thanks Cr8!

Yes, It is one of the three tops I bent over on plant #4. I also bent over two tops on plant #3 as well. I will grab some pics after lights on.

What I do is gently squeeze the stem at the point I want it to bend at. I squeeze and kind twist a little by rubbing my finger and thumb together until it just starts to give a bit and crush the outside wall of the stem a bit. Then I slowly bend the top over until it can barley hold up its own weight. I then let it grow back.

Yes, I have snapped the stem a few times and lost tops. I have also been able to place support under the branch if I bend to far and tape them back up and had them come back. It is a bit of a risk, but better than letting them fry in the lights.
