Since doing both manifold and flux training this grow I can say that manifold seems to be faster and more productive. The branch's are 3x thicker with a ton of nodes. I really think manifold training would allow for more plants where the fluxed plants need the extra space width wise.
1 plant will have only 7 main colas but the 2nd will have 17.
Take a look at these 2 girls.
And..
Here's one of the fluxd girls. She's filled out nicely with a few nodes on each branch.
This is my favorite blueberry clone, I decided to put her in a 2gal pot today.
Even though I'm still using 18/6 I've started them on 1/4 bloom nutes today. I may flip the lights within the week.

Manifolding will produce more over time, fluxing is awesome but takes a lot of time to do right. Looking gorgeous in the garden.

Your right, to be honest I wasn't really aware of just how much time it would take. These 2 fluxed plants could veg for another 2 month before they would be truly ready for flower.
Still I'm happy with what I've learned.

My first journal was going to be a flux and i started the project then Snid told me to check out his tutorials on topping and manifolds and i never looked back. LA always amazed me with his projects though.

Snid's such a helpful member, I really struggled with visualizing how to lst a plant until he invited me to his threads.
I have a ton of respect for LA and anyone else who prefers to flux but like you.. manifolds are more for me.

Thank you for this comparison. I plan to Manifold and Scrog my next grow. Fluxing is cool as hell and fun to watch, but as PW stated, takes much longer.

Switched the lights to 12/12. I'm impressed with how thick the the branch's are on the 2 clones.
I'm grateful that the 2 plants I'm fluxing where able to have a few nodes on each branch at least. I failed them with the patience they needed for more veg time, should be cool to see what they produce despite that.
