You're close to maxing out the cannabis growing space, and if the Malawi and Stickies keep stretching you might run out of airspace too.

Looking pretty smart. Cleaned out a lot of fuzzy branches to free up some space. Hoping for at least double the length of the branches after stretch. Fingers crossed.
Really loving what digging those sweetpeas in had done for the condition of both soil and plant. I'll be doing that from now on

Could you refresh my memory, please. What was the purpose of the sweetpeas? Was it to add nitrogen to the soil? I see you have marigolds growing with you plants - is that to discourage pests?

Yes, exactly that. The sweetpeas have done a great job so far. I dug them in a bit later than I should have. But we wanted some flowers to smell up the house, so I let some flower a bit.
Dug them in, added some castings and planted the lady in a week later. So it decomposed while the roots were going through it.
I most often do the same with the marigolds. Apparently they don't allow certain pest nematodes from growing as they release a gas during decomposition.
I grow them mainly to condition my soil and attract tons of mantis, wasps, spiders and lady birds to the deck and it works excellently. I don't think I've had pests up Here. Also keeps the soil out of my pool when the cape doctor comes around. They self seed so they are always growing. In winter they fight the chickweed but it all gets dug in and the marigolds come back a week later as sprouts.

Nothing at the moment, next up will be Nevils Haze f1 and Du Ma Den Vietnamese Black. Hopefully I'll get started soon.
